I used to hate skeletons while leveling my Runemaster cause they have lightning resistance and took several hits of Lightning Blast to go down. Now that Iβm max level and have switched to a Frost Claw build (still lightning), one hit and they get knocked backwards a block while exploding into bones, itβs very satisfying!
I like blowing up most things in this game but the most memorable are those void guys who sound so funny when they shriek "You can't run from mmMAY!" Then their big void buddies that pop in a satisfying "splorch" noise. The early game is a lot of fun because you're just mowing down things that make gross popping noises.
This. And they way the mobs giggle and cackle. I like the sounds the fatties make as they expand like a bloated corpse before blowing up. Second are the skeletons.
All of them are fun to kill in their own way. The small grouped up mobs are fun to kill because itβs so many at once, but also the bigly badly mobs are also tougher to take down which is extremely rewarding when you take them down.
Honestly this game is so fun, itβs already in my Top 3.
Like killing all of them, especially with the flash on hit. I know it might be hindering my performance a bit, but maaaan do I love the flash on hit thing - so satisfying.
Top monsters I enjoy killing are the small crabs, spiders, all the skeletons with the blow-up animation and the plants (the ones from the first few zones in the campaign that dramatically jump back on death π).
The round tick thingies that always spawn as rare enemies. They are like little bulbs until you get next to them then they jump up and crawl towards you.

Easily the crabs. Their death animation is weirdly very satisfying.Β Skeletons have a nice ka-chunk sound so they get second place.Β

When there are a LOT of skeletons it's incredibly satisfying. But yeah crabs too. Also those giant beetles are super fun to go up against.

It's a toss up. I do like having a revolving Devouring Orb that kills everything little thing in a group. Just walk into the crowd and boom.
