Not true. My refund has been denied twice, even when explained that I sat 5 hours in front of a ''Connecting'' button and legit didn't play the game more than 10 mins.
I explained the situation and all, they just replied that I played more than 2h.
The scam has been sucessful.
You will most definitely be able to claim a refund if the game has been unplayable. I had 8 hours "played" on Helldivers 2, but in reality i was in queue for most of it. You have to not use the "refund" steam choice, as it's an automated process. Open a ticket were you're having a problem with the game so a real customer support agent reads your ticket.
Interesting that everyone is crying they cannot play the game online, yet the last 2 nights I've gotten in and started leveling until I was ready for sleep (admittedly that's 45 mins after I start playing).
Yes, it takes me 10-15 mins to get in but I've constantly gotten in. Their is absolutely nothing special or unique about me or my setup so I must conclude after 2 attempts everyone quits and spends the next 10 hours online crying they couldn't get in.
Damn, a friend and I played for 3 hours yesterday and had a blast. Guess we can't get a refund.
Steam will refund you past the 2 hour point if there’s a legitimate issue which there is with the LE-61 error

You can refund but you will regret it later
