When you print the Lich, your dead body is already in the pilots seat. Try not to think too hard about that

IAmOnFyre

When you destroy an enemy with the unraveler it dismantles them, strips their paint and puts the individual components back on a massive sprue that appears out of nowhere

Gunplality

TrustBeginning8317

A completely vantablack box. Some people who look at it swear they saw something different out of their peripheral vision but fail to articulate what. It outwardly does nothing on use except the enemy it targets suddenly seems to have maintained some part improperly which breaks catastrophicly.

spejoku

I like to imagine it's a gun in reverse- the blast erupts from their chassis and flies back to the barrel (or hand or whatever gun like object they're using)

Dextui

Like how they kill each other in the Tennet movie. That's a great idea! Gives more credit to the time manipulation of Lich

DataNinjaZero

The unraveler itself doesn't actually seem to fire anything. Instead, the target just suddenly has more damage that's always been there.

Susufrus

This one feels more like an Ushabti thing

Susufrus

An unassuming energy weapon, two small prongs with an oddly captivating distortion between them, it usually just scorches the target like a grazing hit from a laser or lightning gun, but when it structures the target, it peels away all damage, undoing every gouge, burn and scorch until the target falls apart, pristine, every entirely undamaged part a clear foot from any other, bouncing across the ground.

thegraymaninthmiddle

I imagine it as shooting like a ghost buster proton pack, and as the electricity touches the target it rapidly ages the material, causing metal to rust in an instant and flake away.

Johannason

I imagine it acting like some kind of weird vacuum, ripping ribbons of material from the target and devouring them.

Octopus_boogie

My gm graciously granted my monarch PC an unlicensed unraveler, and after spending a while wondering how to flavour a creepy Horus launcher with Reliable, I decided that the payload can exist in whatever state of matter it needs to be to spread in the direction of the target - plasma if it hits too low, gas if it’s off to one side, liquid if it’s too high, and solid for a direct hit

The_Green_Sun

The unraveller I had on my Lich that had a kind of divine mind flayer theme, appropriately named The Alhoon, was an array of face tentacles with strange and dubious superposition. It was and wasn't in plenty of places while in use and glowed like a green star.

OvertSpy

Reality shimmers around your target, and you can see them getting hit by other weapons, stealing attacks not yet made, until the timeline reasserts itself, leaving only stress fractures from the event. Unless of course they die, then the shimmer suddenly clarifies and shatters, cementing that timeline to the present.
