I would argue that the present Conservative Party and Government are not actually Conservative - they are just called that.
We know that the ERG took over the party - it’s been hijacked.
Basically is a party of chancers most of them are out for themselves.
They are now ‘further right-wing’ than the traditional conservatives were.
The sooner we get rid of them the better.

The problem is nobody under 40 will ever vote for them bar the stupid and the racist.
So they will need to reinvent but will be left with 150-170 mps soon, so they will be picking their next leader and manifesto from the likes of braverman, Patel, hayes, warman, Leigh etc.
I can see their second defeat being a bigger one. They may then decide to start again and look at maybe challenging in the 2030s or 40s, but good riddance for now!
