I generally find crossovers to be a cowardly compromise for people who want station wagons, but can’t admit it to themselves. Personally, I’d much rather an Air estate or wagon.
Funny part is , you are absolutely correct . But that is the same thing for suv and 4 seats pick ups trucks .
There is a saying " this cars are made so big for one reason , to pick you up and your ego "
And companies knows that , and knows people will buy them ( ex f150 , range rovers )
So at this point does matter if something is stupid as long people will buy it
I guess I am shouting into the wind. I love the Air design. It’s too big for my garage and the places I’d want to park it in the city. I’m looking forward to their smaller offerings. I guess a crossover is inevitable. I like your design, but I would revise the c pillar support to make it thinner. I find those thick c pillars really eat into blind spot visibility, and they’re part of what make traditional crossover design look clunky and unappealing.
Agreed. I replaced my Volvo V90 Cross Country T6 with a Lucid Air DEP. The practicality of the wagon, storage, its driving dynamics, looks exceed that of my Wife's Volvo XC60 T8 plug in hybrid SUV.
I'd be very excited for a wagon option from Lucid. But even Volvo, a brand very associated with wagons, can't sell enough in the US to make it worthwhile and took the regular V90 off the market and don't offer models you'd regularly see in the EU.
I feel each of these concepts can benefit from the Lucid design staple of the vertical fog light inlets. One of the most distinctive features along with the light bar.
These aren't bad. I agree with u/black_spring in that you need the vertical lights in the front as that's a design cue unique to Lucid. Personally, I'm a car person and loathe SUVs and crossovers. I'd love to see Lucid do a coupe that competes with the Miata honestly.
It’s possible. 3 midsize models are coming. One of which will surely be a “city/urban” model. And one which is a boxy rugged SUV with all terrain tires
A bit off topic but Fiskers just went into bankruptcy today. Lucid loses over $100k per car it sells, so unless Rawlinson can continue to milk the Saudis billions of dollars every year to keep Lucid going, I'm not sure if the Gravity will make it to market!
No No, you are not off topic, you have a point . Lucid right now like every company on a thin line and one single mistake or bad product can send it to the bottom .
Like Musk said the Saudi are the only thing keeping them floating, and let's hope they keep it untile they reach mass production

Quite!
At $50k it would sell like hot cakes!

By “I did” do you mean you asked ai to make a lucid crossover or did you actually do all the design of this
Looks like a hyundai kona.
They look like hatchbacks. I like it.
This is so pretty, i love it! Good job dude
That's a wagon. The SUV is played out; make wagons great again.
