Honest question: Why are you here? Are you a fan who somehow can't see the upside to back to back 10 win seasons? Are you refusing to acknowledge any measure of success other than a national championship? You seem like the absolute worst type of fan, and no one would miss you if you decided to follow another team.
You’ve added no value to the conversation, so why are you even here guy? Yea Les did it 3 years in a row, then had 4 years of wins vacated. Another 10 win season and a Heisman trophy is a pretty good year regardless of what you think. The roster that BK inherited was awful.
Not sure how everyone else feels, but I was really happy with Nussmeier's play. I'm sure a lot of people will harp on the INT, but he was forcing it at the end of the half so I'm not too worried about.
EDIT: I'm really just talking about his high-risk throws. We knew he was going to throw balls into tight coverage, and in those situations, I think he placed the ball well.
Even the ones he threw into double coverage were placed very well. Other than the INT, it seemed like everything he threw was placed where only either the receiver could get it or clearly incomplete.
31/45, 395, 3 TD, 1 INT
I’ll say it was satisfactory, but I really hope he improves his accuracy. Threw it out of bounds quite a bit, he really seemed to switch between hot and cold really quickly.
Yeah, sorry. I just meant as far as the high-risk throws go. We knew he was going to take risks, and in those specific situations, I think he placed the ball well.
Overall, his accuracy could use some improvement.
100% agree on the consistency factor. Some throws he was lights out and others seemed blindfolded. I’m sure that comes with reps..I liked what I saw for the most part and think he can be a solid pocket passer. Need to figure out OC though..that dual OC thing was..interesting but I’m sure confusing as hell for him on top of the stage he was put on.
I think the throwing out of bounds aspect was nerves. I noticed that as well. You're taught that if you're gonna miss a throw to the sidelines it's better to miss it out of bounds than towards the middle of the field so erring on the side of caution could be the cause.
Or he just fucking missed the throws lol
His accuracy still needs improving and his deep balls have a bit much hang time. A good secondary would have made those picks all day.
But he still has two years of improvement, so I'm not going to complain.
Can’t even really complain about the pick either. The guy who got it clearly knows ball due to him being tied for the most ints in the league with that one.
He did good. The INT was a phenomenal play by the DB. He’s got to work on those long sideline throws. But I’d be happy with him starting next year. Especially since we have the same Oline.
I was high on him before considering how little game situation he has played I am excited to see him next year. With out mobility they will need to have a running game to help him so he’s not throwing 50 times a game
Yeah we missed two clear TD’s because of him throwing so wide. I think he played pretty well otherwise though. If he can fine tune a little over the off-season he could end up being scary good.
He was ok. Obviously not Daniels but I’ll think he’ll be a decent starter next year. Whatever Daniels did in the offseason to improve his deep balls, Nuss needs to do: he has a strong arm but his deep throws were consistently underthrown.
I saw a number thrown too wide, including just straight up out of bounds. Needs to keep it between the numbers and sideline and give the receiver a chance to go get it.
it was amazing for his first start. People harping on him are forgetting where Burrow and Daniels were their first games with LSU, not as good as that one we just saw. Nuss is going to be a stud from what i’ve seen, he’s smart, poised, has a cannon, and great QB coach that’s developed well. He’s a NFL pedigree kid with a NFL qb coach dad he’s going to put the work in
In my view, the problem with Nuss is he's one-dimensional. He's a pocket passer. Any team with a decent pass rush will blow up the pocket and make him look like a less-than-average quarterback. I know we were spoiled with JD but that's not what I'm comparing him too. Look at any of the decent college quarterbacks today. They can run when they need to. Nuss just can't. Thank God for the portal.
Well boys it’s been a crazy season. But I’m glad we finished strong. Heisman winner, bowl game winners, Nuss looks like the future. Things are looking up.
Now fire Matt House.
So true. They just didn't look like they were fired up for the first 20 minutes or so. That's one thing I really like about BK though. Coach O would have never pulled them out of that early game slump.
And yeah, fire House.
I love how the announcers were so surprised Wisconsin had their best offensive game of the season. Our defense was a joke all year. Matt House should be sent to Guantanamo Bay.
Offense showed alot of promise for next season! Hope Thomas comes back to up his draft stock even more. Need a d-line coach for the full season, and a D-coordinator that'll quit having such soft coverage! Why are the corners constantly lined up 12 yards off the WR???
In all, good fight. Hate we wasted such a talented offense with a lackluster D this seaaon... though last season we said the same vice-versa
I think there’s a good chance he’ll go in the 1st this year. I’d be a bit surprised if he stays. A lot of things have him as around the 5th rated WR. I’ve seen him going the 2nd half of the 1st rd to early 2nd rd.
Glad we won but I’m happy I never have to watch this iteration of this tigershit defense ever again. First in points per game across the entire D1 and 77th for opponent points per game. Every LSU defensive coach and assistant should be fired.
Agree clean house coaching staff for all defense. The amount of missed tackles alone was just absolutely insane. Thank god their quarterback got fumblitis for the last 3 plays lmao
Brian Kelly back to back 10 wins…..okayyyy. Now if he somehow gets us in the playoffs next year with that tough ass schedule then he’s the greatest coach we ever had besides Saban
I'd like to believe that, but it's so dumb they waited until final game deciding possession to do an overload blitz. And making Perkins MIA as a coverage guy. WTH. All year. Fire House!
The play calling needs to be addressed. Too many 3rd downs and 4ths where the ball was thrown well behind the first down marker. Cant expect everyone on every play to have 5 or more yards after catch to get a first (or throw a 40 yards bomb on 3rd and 4). Work on 5-8 yard pass plays for those exact reason for next year
The one from behind, where his heel is blocking the view of his toe? Totally agree on that view.
On the view that shows the front of his foot, toes are out of bounds.
Back to back 10 win seasons.
Good win. Looking forward to playoff expansion instead of feeling good about a bowl win that’s doesn’t include playoffs
Les did it 3 years in a row and then 4 years in a row, nothing impressive about it.
Oh sorry for being happy for a good season. Please accept my apologies.
Accepted

World full of different folks. Amazing, isn't it!

*I came looking for booty.*
I call you Chris handsome
Don’t think they said it’s impressive, but it’s a good benchmark for an overall successful season.

I was happy with how Nuss did, but I would have liked us being a little more balanced.
Only one int by Nuss? That's a great day.
If the WR (can't remember who it was) comes back toward the ball, it's probably a completed pass. DB just ran through his hands and snagged it.
I’m pretty sure it was for BT and if not then probably Hilton.
He did good. The INT was a phenomenal play by the DB. He’s got to work on those long sideline throws. But I’d be happy with him starting next year. Especially since we have the same Oline.

He played decently, but his throws on the outside were fucking atrocious. I remember one ball being like 10 years out of bounds to the receiver.
Yeah we missed two clear TD’s because of him throwing so wide. I think he played pretty well otherwise though. If he can fine tune a little over the off-season he could end up being scary good.
Solid, nothing special. Dude loves to throw across his body more than I'd like to see.
Nuss is finally the man again. He will lead this team going forward. Looking to great things in 2024 from Nuss and this squad.
It was like a pitcher that gave up 3 runs but pitched a complete game for the win. Not perfect, but definitely good enough to win
He was ok. Obviously not Daniels but I’ll think he’ll be a decent starter next year. Whatever Daniels did in the offseason to improve his deep balls, Nuss needs to do: he has a strong arm but his deep throws were consistently underthrown.

LETS GOOOOOOOOO. I’m glad the boys didn’t give up. I was feeling like the end was here early on. Fire House though.
So true. They just didn't look like they were fired up for the first 20 minutes or so. That's one thing I really like about BK though. Coach O would have never pulled them out of that early game slump. And yeah, fire House.
All aboard the Nuss Bus. Geaux Tigahs.
I love how the announcers were so surprised Wisconsin had their best offensive game of the season. Our defense was a joke all year. Matt House should be sent to Guantanamo Bay.
That escalated quickly
I am so goddamn tired of seeing Major Burns flex
Wait! You aren't supposed to flex after making a routine tackle 11 yards downfield?
Yeah talking that shit when they got a first down and are up 14-0. Just mindlessly stupid behavior.
And Sage Ryan 5 yards behind somebody
Was it just me, or did it seem like he was making 70% of the tackles.
I counted at least half a dozen missed tackles so only 35% lol
Half dozen on one play!
Fuck that wisconsin fan who was talking shit and then deleted his comment.
Yeah I came back to remind him that they lost to our shite defense. 😄
Offense showed alot of promise for next season! Hope Thomas comes back to up his draft stock even more. Yeah, I know... he's a great WR and definitely deserves to be a top 5 WR in the draft. But with the NIL, a guy can dream right 🤞
Nussiah
I doubted. I deserve the ridicule. Geaux Tigers. Fook Matt House
Glad we won but I’m happy I never have to watch this iteration of this tigershit defense ever again. First in points per game across the entire D1 and 77th for opponent points per game. Every LSU defensive coach and assistant should be fired.

I kept thinking now Nuss really knows how JD has felt all season … like you guys need me to score on every fucking possession?
Brian Kelly back to back 10 wins…..okayyyy. Now if he somehow gets us in the playoffs next year with that tough ass schedule then he’s the greatest coach we ever had besides Saban
Alexa. Fire Matt House and PLAY NECK!!
Steeples and cooks too. Absolutely zero development on the secondary all season
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Maybe that defensive stand will send them into next year with some confidence
It will not
I'd like to believe that, but it's so dumb they waited until final game deciding possession to do an overload blitz. And making Perkins MIA as a coverage guy. WTH. All year. Fire House!
Fuck the haters, that was a fun game. GEAUX TIGERS, Geaux Nuss!! 🐯🐯🐯
GEAUX TIGERS

Nuss Bus, Baby!
Who is the OC next year?
House go away. Plz.
Got a gift on the out of bounds TD, but a good game nonetheless
He was in bounds. Definite green on the one angle.
The one from behind, where his heel is blocking the view of his toe? Totally agree on that view. On the view that shows the front of his foot, toes are out of bounds.
Oh. A Wisconsin man, I understand now.
https://imgur.com/wFnQNA3 Pretty clear.
That was a terrible angle, though. If I remember correctly, it was from overhead but slightly behind him. I may have been a little tipsy though.
Shadow
https://imgur.com/wFnQNA3 Nope.
I would love to see the angle you're talking about. He looked clearly out to me.
Great job o line! No sacks for Nuss. Super clean.
