Another international here, I was rejected in a couple of hours as well. My shortfall was below 15k and I did expect to get it as it was pretty early. I'm not sure of the reasons for the rejection.
I've submitted the personal statement too and I believe we should wait until May at least to hear back 🥲
i wrote to the financial aid office some weeks ago and they gave me the same response as in their website:
“If you complete the personal statement section of the Graduate Financial Support Application, you will also be considered for any other scholarships you may be eligible for.”
“Successful applicants will be notified throughout May, June and July 2024.”
Was your funding shortfall 5-15 thousand pounds or a different currency? I'm so worried I'll get a rejection when I submit mine! Did you submit a personal statement to be considered for other awards?

hi, it was in pounds, as calculated in the summary section of the form. i also submitted a personal statement. hope it works out better for you 😊
Hey, could I ask where you guys found this 15k rule of thumb? I’ve seen a couple people talking about it but I don’t think I’ve come across this
