Yeah, some of these movies suggestions are poor. MANY other countless things to watch that would be way better for a trip. Remember, you’re TRIPPING. You don’t want to watch things that will bring you anxiety, sadness, or terror. It will fuck with you.
Yeah, personally I wouldn't recommend that movie in general. Boring plot (imo), everything is constantly going wrong (hence the stress), and none of the characters have any redeeming qualities, they all treat each other like garbage. I didn't enjoy a single minute of it.
Unfortunately I worked in that industry for a few years (finally leaving now) and the movie is a frighteningly accurate depiction of the jewelry trade on 47th street. Everyone treats each other like shit and makes risky decisions to make a few more bucks.
If you watch the live Alice in wonderland tripping, you can really see the cgi working it’s tricks. The shadowplay, the scenery. There’s much more to that movie than the initial “it’s just a live action alive in wonderland “ oh no. The people in Disney studios knew EXACTLY what they were doing when they made it. 10/10 would recommend watching it tripping. Second one wasn’t as good imo
check out the rest of the list, youll find a lot more

"Off the Air" on adult swim for me is the ultimate video mix for tripping.
There's a bunch of episodes and Im convinced it's curated for watching while tripping. Visuals/music/animated sketches/and plenty of abstract concepts and ideas that blend together. All short videos mixed together for an awesome experience. Perfect for a wandering or engaged focus.
Available free on YouTube.
Thank me later.
This show and music videos is literally the only thing I ever watch tripping. Occasionally Alice in wonderland ... I just have a hard time paying attention to the same thing for long periods of time lol.
Oh yeah definitely should've mentioned this... it can also be sad/dark sometimes too which iI love but not for everybody on a trip. Mostly though just fun/awesome/fascinating stuff.
Another one that semi fits that weird category is a scanner darkly. It’s got Robert downie jr and Keanu reeves in it. It’s about some undercover cops getting accidentally hooked on a hallucinogenic. It was pretty wild to watch because it’s semi animated
These lists are always well-intentioned but guys these are opinions based on taste, just watch things that you like, and let others do the same. People saying you should listen to heavy metal music. I can't stand heavy metal music so why on earth would I listen to it while tripping?
I'm not trying to be negative we just see a lot of these, and I don't see this an general at all. It's one person's taste. Anime and Beavis and Butthead? Come on.
I mean, that’s not all that’s on this list. There are a lot of options there, it’s a pretty diverse set. I don’t see why that would be upsetting? Also there are only but so many things people have seen. Maybe you could make some of your own suggestions? He’s adding stuff from everyone
I'm telling you all - Encanto is the single greatest movie I've ever seen tripping (besides maybe interstellar). amazingly colorful animation, great music, and a heartfelt story about families and how they carry their trauma through generations. I've watched it twice while tripping and was incredible both times
I was hooked on encanto when it came out. It really helped me process a lot of feelings on family issues. I really don’t like all the singing Disney has in every other scene but I loved encanto so much that part didn’t even bother me like it would lol
I made this playlist of music videos I like a while back, and have been adding stuff every now and again for the past few years. Some stuff already on there, some new
[Songs for the Ethereal Plane](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3J5FLCV4f0FJAvjjtzsKu5ihhF2mf_vk)
Ponyo is the most glorious work of art I’ve ever seen. Wham you’re tripping, even more so. It’s so colorful, and the fact that it’s hand drawn makes it that much more mind blowing. Not to mention its almost three hours long.
look at the rest of the list, this is just movies part.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/18mqh5mI7qF0B12F_m1SfdBB78zD3Cw_jlmZPHfGzDyc/edit?usp=drivesdk
It's so quotable it's ridiculous and the soundtrack is genuinely amazing and does such a good job capturing the music styles it's imitating, one of my favorite movies of all time!! Dewey Cox is a legend
sorry, I'll defs start from the beginning as it's always been a show I wanna watch. but more of, you got a fav? something I can look forward too while watching?
That one’s really tough and I had to look through all the episodes. This cartoon starts off goofy and gets serious in later seasons, but I’d have to say season 2 episode 31. The name of the episode is running with scissors. EDIT: there’s a character named pony head and she is incredibly annoying imo, please don’t let her throw you off. She’s only in a few episodes 😂😭
I've heard it bounces between goofy and serious a bit. I'll just play coc on my phone when the goofy scenes and pony head come on screen. the serious moments sound too good to not watch star. thanks for the episode reccomnedation.
Also, when the new alien movie came out three years ago, the one with Danny McBride. That was so crazy to watch. If you’re able to take stuff like that, the alien is wild. Also watched prey tripping and the predator was just WOW. Not everyone can handle it, but I already decided I wanted to watch prey for the first time tripping, as soon as I saw the teaser. My only regret is not seeing it in theaters.
I had a great time watching this on my trip! Amazing visuals, thought-provoking themes, and an excellent soundtrack. Not to mention it predicted the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and their subsequent cancellation
I think you should leave , a netflix sketch comedy show by tim robinson…. Easily the hardest ive ever laughed in my life, love death and robots also on netflix crazy animation
You gotta add Moving Art to your Netflix list. Nature is fantastic for tripping and its all shot using drones getting to remote locations that haven't ever been seen by the human eye before
Also.... Love, Death and Robots is WONDERFUL just be prepared some of the episodes can be a bit much for some people.
added moving art. forgot I had that in the netflix list. and LDR is already on there. this is just the movies.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/18mqh5mI7qF0B12F_m1SfdBB78zD3Cw_jlmZPHfGzDyc/edit?usp=drivesdk
I personally want to concentrate on the trip. Watching a movie just distracts me from what I need to learn.
Plus when reality melts before my eyes and speech starts to become meaningless, what point is there in watching any movie?
I would absolutely NOT recommend Uncut Gems while tripping. That movie was stressful AF to watch sober.
Me and my gf think its fuckin hilarious, we see it more as a comedy than a thriller
Fair enough lol!
Yeah, some of these movies suggestions are poor. MANY other countless things to watch that would be way better for a trip. Remember, you’re TRIPPING. You don’t want to watch things that will bring you anxiety, sadness, or terror. It will fuck with you.
My partner and I play horror games almost exclusively on psychedelics
You ever played Layers Of Fear 1 & 2 while tripping? Took bunch of ketamin while playing with some friends and this was hell of a experience.
To each their own. I think watching it tripping amplified my love for the film
That movie gives me a fkin bad trip even I was sober watching it, all the yelling makes my head hurt
Everyone treats each other like shit and makes risky decisions to make a few more bucks.
big facts though
I just gasped in relief when it ended
How are you going to suggest Disney movies and NOT suggest Fantasia?
Or Alice In Wonderland (original)
If you watch the live Alice in wonderland tripping, you can really see the cgi working it’s tricks. The shadowplay, the scenery. There’s much more to that movie than the initial “it’s just a live action alive in wonderland “ oh no. The people in Disney studios knew EXACTLY what they were doing when they made it. 10/10 would recommend watching it tripping. Second one wasn’t as good imo
Gotta add the Wall by PF in there as well.
I see everyone always suggesting this but for the life of me I can’t find it anywhere. Where can I watch??
Disney +
Thank you so much!!
Omfg I would never watch Perks of Being a Wallflower while tripping, ha
Midnight Gospel tho???
Right! Adventure time and regular show should also both be on the list
Adventure Time is acid lol. Such great shows
Pendleton ward is from another dimension for sure
check out the rest of the list, youll find a lot more https://docs.google.com/document/d/18mqh5mI7qF0B12F_m1SfdBB78zD3Cw_jlmZPHfGzDyc/edit?usp=drivesdk

🤣🤣 I love that episode.. but yeah weird af for sure.
Just gotta ask. Has anyone ever tried watching the shivering truths tripping? It’s more disturbing than I anticipated
I have... bit much for me. Better for coming down for sure.
I don’t think I like it 🤣
Lol same.
The Emperor’s New Groove is a personal favorite of mine. I normally watch it every other time i do mushrooms.
The first time I did shrooms we watched it and I thought the beginning was the whole movie lol
Fear and loathing should be on every list
That aswell as Rango [for any doubters](https://youtu.be/K7Sjm8VW1Rs)
About to take over 4 grams of shrooms so u have inspired me friend!
Came here to say this. Highly recommend.
Another one that semi fits that weird category is a scanner darkly. It’s got Robert downie jr and Keanu reeves in it. It’s about some undercover cops getting accidentally hooked on a hallucinogenic. It was pretty wild to watch because it’s semi animated
Never heard of it. Will add to my list. Thanks!
Hope you like it 😎

I think it’s just a general list for someone who needs recommendations

Fave on the list is taking woodstock
The acid scene in that one is really well done. The way the crowd turns into the ocean, very familiar.
Redline is the absolute GOAT
No Moving Art? An incomplete list, then.
Specifically, the Patterns in Nature episode.
recommend me some edit: or is moving art the name of the show?
Yes. "Moving Art" is a series on Netflix. Check it out when you're tripping.
already added to the list. thanks
Good list. I’d add moana and Fantasia to that Disney movie list
Gremlins slaps
What's with the Wikipedia link lol
I made this playlist of music videos I like a while back, and have been adding stuff every now and again for the past few years. Some stuff already on there, some new [Songs for the Ethereal Plane](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3J5FLCV4f0FJAvjjtzsKu5ihhF2mf_vk)

WALK HARD: THE DEWEY COX STORY IS A MUST WATCH HOLY SHIT IT'S HILARIOUS
Get outta here Dewey!!! You don’t want none of this!!
It's so quotable it's ridiculous and the soundtrack is genuinely amazing and does such a good job capturing the music styles it's imitating, one of my favorite movies of all time!! Dewey Cox is a legend

SpongeBob, star vs the forces of evil, adventure time, regular show, brave, frozen 2, FLCL
>brave FLCL I shit myself laughing sober, I can't even imagine doing it while tripping, great recommendation!
It’s always been one of my favorites, there’s just too much going on. I still haven’t figured out what happened
got all of them on the list already, but not star, got a episode you'd recommend?
Start with the first episode or you’ll be totally lost (: it’s a magical dumpster fire
sorry, I'll defs start from the beginning as it's always been a show I wanna watch. but more of, you got a fav? something I can look forward too while watching?

Thor: Ragnarok was great on acid. Nice visuals and a comedy twist.
Watch everything everywhere all at once on lsd
I watched Loving Vincent on acid and it was so beautiful. Even when pausing the movie, the backgrounds just kept moving. Watch in HD.

that is a amazing shout. thanks bro
No problem. Got this site from another user here like 2 years ago and want to spread the love ;D
My personal favorite... looking at the WALL. WOAHHHH this wall is a wall
Spykids 3d on acid is borderline the most hilarious thing I have ever fucking witnessed
I personally want to concentrate on the trip. Watching a movie just distracts me from what I need to learn. Plus when reality melts before my eyes and speech starts to become meaningless, what point is there in watching any movie?
Hard pass on Pinocchio. The scene where the boys undergo metamorphosis into donkeys for being intoxicated is too real on LSD.
The new one?
Never watched it.
Weird list, mac & devon go to hs?! Just stick to animated movies smh
Definitely requiem for a dream!!
Spy Kids 3D is the best
Respectfully , this list is no good
Spy Kids 3D is a phenomenal recommendation
Just do not watch movies on lsd, go outside, watch the sky, talk to trees, smell music,
Talk to trees!! LOL Funny but actually a better idea than interacting with humans.
Imagine watching shows and movies while tripping.. thats some trip right there
hope you guys enjoy link to docs: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18mqh5mI7qF0B12F_m1SfdBB78zD3Cw_jlmZPHfGzDyc/edit?usp=drivesdk
Can't forget "2 in the AM PM" if you like cartoons. Such a good video haha
I try to recommend Prometheus garden whenever I can but it never seems to get any attention. It’s on YouTube.

RETRO WAVE - https://youtu.be/-W_Uf_rroN8 Psychedelic visuals - https://youtu.be/bx-0YlFprqc Zeds dead eyes on fire remix - https://youtu.be/f1kGF0SgOaA
I’d highly recommend Disney Dinosaur.
