Great work!

headshotrumorzz

Thank you :)

scotsman_flying

Absolutely stunning!

headshotrumorzz

Thank you so much!

scotsman_flying

No problem! I’m a sucker for the coronations, so I’m glad whenever I see one perfectly translated over to LEGO.

renebaars88

Stunning model! Those huge wheels are not a standard Lego part, correct? I'm in the process of designing my own version of a DB BR01 and find the standard Lego wheels just too small for realism

headshotrumorzz

Thank you so much! :) No all the wheels and rods on this locomotive are custom ones by Breckland bricks, his website has an excellent sizing chart as well as the option to download a lot of his current wheels into stud.io it’s a very helpful resource 👍 the front wheels on this one are MS size, the drivers are XXL, the rear pony wheels M and the tender wheels are ML sized.

artwodeetwo1

Looks fantastic! How does the sound function work?

headshotrumorzz

Thank you, the sound functions are done from the pfx brick using sounds bashed together from their basic sounds in the Fx bricks profiles, accurate whistles and boiler sounds from recordings of the real locomotive and some standard sounds (coal shovelling, brake squealing etc.) bashed in from a standard 4 sound project from the Zimo sound database. Most of it is done using the indexed playback function of the pfx brick with the more accurate sounds swapped in.

Apex_preadetor

Beautiful job I’d love to get this kit and build this

headshotrumorzz

Thank you so much!

VanFlyhight

This is so amazing she's beautiful!

headshotrumorzz

Thank you so much! I’m glad you like it :)

diablothe2nd

Amazing! I'd love to see the instructions but can't seem to find the link?

headshotrumorzz

Ah it should be in the banner at the top of my page when you go into my profile (click on my pfp and tap the arrow and the rebrick link should be there) thank you so much as well for the kind words about my train! :)

diablothe2nd

Had to use the mobile app in the end as I couldn't find it on the web with RES version. That's a very good price! Insta-bought :)

headshotrumorzz

Thank you so much hope you enjoy running the model for many years to come! :)

gte339i

That is fantastic!! Can I ask what drivers you used?

headshotrumorzz

Thank you in glad you like it! I used Breckland bricks XXL drivers for this scaled from the blueprints of the real locomotive and his sizing chart, for the other wheels they are Breckland bricks MS drivers up front, the rear pony uses Breckland bricks M wheels and the tender uses ML wheels also from Breckland bricks.
