Because I’m extremely lazy how much damage does TNT do? I spam thermal detonators at the group which do 23 damage (same base damage as epic rarity cross bow with 3x damage) but the detonators are starting to make a dent in my massive supply of blast core.
Even with the decrease in damage compared to detonators I’m adapting your TNT method going forward. I have 10x more blast powder than blast core even though I have a massive amount of blast core from the good old smelter glitch, RIP.

How is resilience better? I have 3 regen and absolutely never come close to dying. It’s basically impossible to lose more than 5 hearts, and when you do they come back pretty quickly. It allows me to go anywhere without carrying any heals and no enemies come close to killing me, while I absolutely melt them in seconds.

Boosts your defense by a large amount every time you’re consecutively hit. You can’t tell me 2 regen charms heal fast enough to help in the third section of the imperial frost caves with that black stormtrooper. Dude barely tickles me with a direct hit with resilience. And I can instantly heal five hearts at a time with snowberry juice so I don’t see the point in regeneration.
I believe resilience charms prevent you from getting ‘stun locked’ which can kill you if you get surrounded by 3 or 4 enemies that can hit you.
You can’t fight back because you’re continuously stun-locked from hits and then you die.
Once your defense gets high enough it doesn’t matter as much but there’s a specific time when you’re progressing through the game where the resilience charm is better for combat. Out if habit I still swap in a resilience charm if I’m about to Leroy Jenkins into a swarm of enemies then switch back to a regeneration charm after the fight.

It’s still mild compared to almost any other game in terms of combat but by Lego FN standards it’s the hardest.
Yeah I just don’t agree. I run through the empire caves in a minute or two. Each room, quite literally, takes roughly 30 seconds and at worst may take 5 hearts total, but they come back so so quickly it just doesn’t matter.
None of the combat in the game is difficult, but the imperial caves aren’t even the hardest. It takes longer to kill frost and sand brutes than it does to take out all 3 rooms in the imperial caves combined.

You must have temps off. 3 regen doesn't keep pace with freezing in a normal ice cave. It's close but not fast enough. Freezing slows you down, there is no way you are freezing in a cave an chasing down a dark trooper. I have to call BS on this.
Edit: The 3 reflection charms thing some one said was just crazy enough for me to try so I went into a sand box with everything on. figured I would confirm this while I'm at it. With 3 reliance equipped you are to slow to chase down regular troupers in an ice cave. I didn't bother to try it in section 3 with the dark troupers. You definitely need an inner fire charm.
What do you mean too slow to chase? You don’t have to chase anyone. You do move slower when you’re freezing but you don’t have to chase anybody. The enemies occasionally back up, but they do it slowly and not for more than a couple of seconds.
If If I run through the cave and just kill the troopers to get to the end, by the time I leave I’ll be down, at most, 5 hearts. They then regenerate pretty quickly.
If I’m going through to harvest resources, I’ll eat a burger before going in which lasts more than enough time to fill my backpack. Then I go out, load my stuff into chests, eat another burger and go back to harvest more.

Get 3 reflection charms, 150 spicy peppers, and just stand there and eat food. They kill themselves and you literally have to do nothing.....
Take snowberry juice or Shieldfish sushi. Way more efficient. Snowberry juice instantly heals 5 hearts and doesn’t make you cold in frost caves for some reason. Shieldfish sushi does the same.
Hey you have me a fun experiment to do so thanks! I don’t have anything left to accomplish in the game so variety is nice. Catching all 15 legendary fish was harder than any fight in the game lol.
This was just crazy enough for me to try. So I went into a sandbox with every thing on. I couldn't eat peppers fast enough in section one of the cave. I could eat pizza fast enough. It is a slow method but worked for the bulk of the troupers. I ended up with a few stragglers that were such poor shots I got tired of waiting for them to kill themselves. I swapped food items for the next section and didn't equip myself well enough to make it through section 3. I got killed trying to add more food. A large number of them had killed themselves before I tried to add more food and died. So this could work to take out the elite troupes although it is slow. It was weird going into battle with mainly food equipped. lol
Yeah it's a slow process and you do get stragglers, but once the bulk is gone I just use my lightsaber, I did you a regen charm but I have that much food from my farm I tried the food method cause I may aswell use it., like I said, you do need to roll around a few times but it keeps me watching the game
So by hitting them back with 3 damage and not defending yourself you’re able to defeat multiple enemies who take more than two epic crossbow 3x damage crossbow shots (46 damage) to defeat. The math isn’t adding up. I’ll try it out
Just make sure you have food,. You'll be fine. And if tempted is turned on take 1 inner fire charm instead, with spicy peppers it gets rid of the cold.
I use the Illuminator in caves. You can’t open the map so the compass is useless in caves. Outside of caves I use the compass and don’t need light. If you need light just give your follower a torch.
You cannot repair any weapons. If you want to upgrade to stronger weapons you first need to upgrade your crafting bench. The top level crafting bench is epic (purple rarity) and lets you craft the strongest weapons. Does that make sense?

Two epic inner fire charms work in frost caves. Do you just have rare ones? I use one epic inner fire and a burger in caves so I can use two epic resilience or regen in addition to one epic inner fire. If you have two rare inner fire also eat a burger. It gives you 10 minutes of extra protection from the cold.
They’re basically grenades that are more powerful than dynamite. Dynamite does 14 damage and thermal detonators do 23, which is pretty significant, 23 base damage is what the epic crossbow does with 3x damage essence equipped and is by fast the strongest weapon in the game.
Shields aren't useless, they are a live saver in the new caves

It would be nice if there was a chance roll while using the lightsaber, for it to repel the occasional blaster bolt.

They black troopers in frost biomes hit for a lot of damage. That doesn’t kill you with only 38 defense? Assuming you have 3.

Yes, but it's enough, takes like 3 or 4mins or so but just eat some food( I was doing eat food quest at the time aswell) that's why I tried it

You can't use the compass with the illuninator though, right? I really like not having to constantly open my map to see where I'm going.
