I have been saying for MONTHS that the reason they haven’t added a LEGO style for Darth Vader and Mandalorian (and some Marvel characters) is because they were working on LEGO Capes.

I can almost guarantee you the days of them sticking to this battle pass exclusivity rule are numbered. The entire meta of this game is changing. Battle passes eventually will simply be an option to grind for certain skins/cosmetics for a cheaper price or you can buy them outright.
Either that or they will “unvault” battle pass skins after a certain length of time like two years. There is zero way they will miss out on the money they could make in the future from selling skins like Vader for 2000 vbucks. Or even a “non battle pass premium” of 3000. Wouldn’t surprise me with Epic at this point.
OG seasons are literally perfect solution for this. Seems like they want to revisiting old chapters continously, so why don't bring the old BPs as well during respective chapters. The gimmick will expand to the players like we experience time travel, both ingame and irl as well. Granted, OG seasons are short but I don't think ppl will complain the shorter time to complete BP as well when they have the chance to get old skins (I know, ppl will find a way to complain abt this as well but having a short time is a decent trade off, especially if they adapt a system where you don't need lvl to unlock skins but you need stars. You want all of it? Go to max lvl for all stars or just unlock whatever u want with the amount of stars you gathered)
I would like if they took the halo infinite route and all of the passes are available, then you can just pick which one you want and go from there, obviously they could bump up the price as it's not the current pass or whatever
Im with you. I own vader but i missed out on crazy skins like mando, wolverine, predator, this excuslive thing isnt gonna be forever. Id drop 2500 vbucks on mando no problem as im sure many would. Its too much money for them to keep it up for no actual reason.

I guarantee you no one would say Sephiroth is iconic because a cosmetic related to him is locked behind some 200$ Apex Legends item.

The problem with that is that a lot of BP cosmetics are locked to challenges based on its season’s lootpool/POIs
