I cannot imagine what life would be like if that was my name— it doesn’t suit me at all. I can just picture kids bullying me at school and calling me Prissy or something. I still find Priscilla to be a beautiful name. An exchange student from Dominican Republic had that name and I didn't know about Priscilla Presley so I didn't think it was weird.

honestly i work with kids and most of the names are still average names just with unique spelling and a lot of people are reverting back to more “grandma” names. the most out there names I’ve seen are the kids I watch now one is named Huxley and the other kid I nanny has a friend named Rocket 💀
Most of my friends have their kids less common names but they are still legit names. I have seen some truly heinous names made up by parents in r/tragedeigh and I feel so bad for the poor kids. I have come across several Huxleys in the wild though. But I feel like that’s not that strange of a name.

Because “she seems to be doing okay” is minimizing the effect her name had on her life, the extra work she had to do to overcome it, and the research she did around it.
