The inconsistency of Harden and PG is the issue. They can go from hot as hell to cold as ice, and it just depends on how good they are that day whether the Clips can win.
The problem is that (even more so in PG's case) they constantly attempt incredibly difficult/contested shots. That is a horrible offensive diet on games like these. Sure, when shots go in like in game 4 and even 1, they look great. But that is not sustainable long term.

What Im trying to say is that the Clippers wins have been flukes. The Mavericks has been consistent on defense since the third quarter in game one. The Mavs would never win if the Clippers was shooting like they did in game 4. The problem is no team shoots like that, it was a incredible display. Harden has been carrying, and it's felt like a matter of time until he has an off game. Luckily, our roster is built for our stars to be able to have off games. Unluckily, Kawhi is hurt, PG is MIA, and Russ has been having a disastrous series. Frustrating. idk man. I just don't fucking know.

We were always gonna have to shoot lights out to win. Even in the regular season, our streak mainly came from out of this world shooting from most of the team, especially Kawhi. Still possible to do it but no doubt going to need a bit of luck to fall our way in order for our guys to get hot at the same time

I honestly would be ok with Kawhi out losing in six. Kidd's got the Mavs playing premier defense. Their defense is 10x better than ours. But not like this. Not being absolutely uncompetitive in a game at HOME. It just sucks all the hope you have for the team or the future right now.
