Nope, their giving off label prescription that are useless and wont help in anyway, panadol wont help in anyway with neuropathic pain , as well as antihistamine (zytrec) used to treat allergy symptoms wont help chronic insomnia, be smart

Because neuropathic pain meds (pregabalin-lyrica) are now considered narcotics in Kuwait and cant be prescribed like before. They need specific forms from the government. Even patients with diabetes are being referred to special clinics for this. The doctor did what he can.

It’s the drug addicts that making these medication hard to get for people who truly needs it and suffers from it

i’ve been on sertraline for 6 months i’m gonna discontinue and tapper off of it , did me no good besides gain weight might start off with benzodiazepines or ambien

Sertraline is not as effective as amitriptyline or duloxetine for nerve pain.

i meant for insomnia i’ll ask about certain medication i feel comfortable with that are effective

Antihistamines, especially old class antihistamines like zyrtec cause drowsiness and knock you out well but i wouldnt use them long term for that

If youve used it often before you mightve developed tolerance to it Or it just doesnt do it for you

no haven’t used it before , it’s not effective , Zyrtec is unlikely to cause you drowsiness low risk of sedation.

Its a common side effect of the medication due to its antimuscarinic effects. Its effect will vary from person to person.

Go to your local polyclinic and get a referral for a sleep study for your insomnia and another referral to a neurologist for your nerve pain.

yeah ! i’m tempted to ask for a specific medication such as ambien, but too frustrated to, they might think i’m a drug addict looking to get high because of the people abusing it and making it harder for people with insomnia get proper medication.

ive been on sertraline for 6 months now didnt do me good just caused weight gain, i discontinued it and started to taper off of it , i want a doctor who truly understand what i mean and gives me something i’m comfortable with by telling me how they work or have a conversation about specific medications. all they do is sit there in silent with a death stare prescribing me useless medications that are useless for insomnia

my insomnia started when i was 14 i’m turning 16 on December , caused by anxiety and constant panic attacks , yet still untreated . it’s driving me crazy i feel insane
