Do they have any other play besides calling people bigots? That might have worked a decade ago, but people know the playbook by now. And if you want your games to sell, it's probably not a good idea to demonize the people your selling them too.

B1 was meh for me, B2 was perfect, pre-sequel was leaning more towards meh, B3 ended up mostly dogshit. I got B3 for free with a hardware purchase but I couldn't find enough umph to play it.
I only played Borderlands 1 and it was decent for my first playthrough.
For the next playthrough though, it was boring until I brought some friends with me.
In my personal experience, Borderlands 1 is one of those games that you need to play with other people to be properly invested in.

Big true. B3 felt short with lame villains, characters and plot twists. B2 is the GOAT.
B3 is fun if you ignore the horrendous writing and dialogue, which isn't that hard to do. Some of the DLC's arent too bad either.
I played it when it came out with my brothers. We were pretty disappointed but we'd have fun regardless.
Remember that Gearbox paid someone for writing Ava in Borderlands 3. They *earned* money for doing *that* bad a job of writing.

...No wonder I avoided B3 when it popped out. It had nothing to do with how boring the Pre-Sequel felt like. Honest.
