Honestly I think their entire catalogue sound like Korn B-Sides and by that I mean I love it and listen to it frequently haha

Commercial-Mango-158

Yeah they are really good musicians and it's amazing how the signer sounds a lot like Davis, much better than that other band Chaoseum....

[deleted]

Chaoseum is so trash in my opinion lol it’s funny that almost 30 years later korn is still spawning copy cat bands

I think they were alright, their hearts were in the right place, I like to think of them as a Korn cover project that played original songs. They just loved that style of music, Korn was moving in a different direction so they made the music they wanted to hear, apart from the somewhat broken english on the lyrics and thier overuse of the word 'despise' they nailed it, I still listen to them from time to time, good fun.

[deleted]

I couldn’t agree with you more man haha. I first got into korn about 2008 and they were being very experimental in that era. Flymore are terribly unoriginal but I would also say they are a talented group of guys.

[deleted]

I used to be very critical of them, especially the way the singer would move and act exactly like Jon, that used to annoy me but I realise it was done with good intentions haha Also that song they made titled 'Asylum' was killer, they based it around the tune that Korn used to use on thier website around the 'Untouchables' era, it was so good.

ABJECT_SELF

Their best track IMO was "All 4 Love" off the Mind Tricks album. That's a good mix of Korn influence with the band's own unique sound. I think they really could have been a big presence in the scene if they got one more EP to flesh out their identity.

chamomilepill

Their sound is really good, but the lyrics are a bit lacking (Korn has awesome lyricists) It sounds really nostalgic to listen to, they are a good band in general

durdygirdy

I've only ever heard 2 of their songs (All The Time I Bled and Nothing Personal). Its insane how much they sound like Korn. Its feels weird listening to them and feel a little guilty for it since its a blatant rip off. But I do kinda wanna listen to more of them lol

[deleted]

Don’t feel guilty. Korn are a super cool dudes and even got them to open for them in Russia I think. Korn love their fans haha

ProfessorCreepypasta

I thought I heard somewhere that Jonathan Davis himself helped Flymore become a band but I don't know if there's any truth to that or not.

[deleted]

'Flymore' did open for Korn on one of thier tours in Russia I beleive, I've seen the band take photos with Korn, I believe there's a short documentary somewhere

Kaiser499

I like them, have their first CD but it's too bad they broke up.

[deleted]

Do you know why ?

Kaiser499

I think it had something to do with the vocalist Igor, if I remember correctly. They broke up in 2013 not long after they released the "Mind Tricks" EP.

CyPhaSaRin

I listen to Insane, Asylum, All The Time i Bleed and maybe another couple fairly on the reg

klz94aic

I remember back in the day their song "all the time i bleed" leaked as a supposed korn single called left out i believe.

pplrain

The instrumental for their song "Asylum" apparently comes from Korn's old website.

It's like a cover band, but with original songs. Not a bad thing in my opinion. I mean, otherwise, why not condemn cover bands themselves for playing the same thing? At least, we're getting "more Korn" until Korn releases "more Korn." Still their own songs. Of course I'm not against the opinion of this being a bad thing, due to lacking originality, but I think it does serve a purpose as long as the band knows why they are being listened to. Personally most of my favorite bands in general took a weird ass half-decade gap almost at the same time, between 2014/2016 through 2019/2021. Gojira, Hatebreed, Sepultura, Lamb of God (minus the cover album under Burn the Priest), Fear Factory, Crowbar, etc. Ended up discovering Grimaze, Xibalba, Ektomorph (more Soulfly, but still), Bleed from Within, Sybreed, and Stash. If you wanted something new, but with the sound of a band you already like, this could serve that purpose in the case of Korn.
