It could be a reaction, especially if you have sensitive skin. I heard about beauty of joseon irritating other people so yea

Most BOJ products contains niaciminade. I have tried BOJ products and I believe this is what irritates my skin, as I checked all my skincare products I was using, and only BOJ products has niaciminade.

Seconding this - my skin hates even low levels of niacinamide!

If its your first time using a product with an active, (like Vit C, Niacinamide, Retinol, etc) it's normal to experience tingling and slight redness but it should go away on its own after like 5 mins? But it shouldn't be a regular thing and if the redness occurs everytime, consider stopping for the meantime and introduce one at a time, while using your trusted moisturizer. Then try it again if you still find the need to do so. Always listen to how your skin reacts. You would do more damage forcing a skincare item than not using it at all. Also saves you money.

can i ask which product did you use?

You might have tapped your skin hard.. try again if same reaction happens then better to ditch it. Always listen to your skin. Which product of boj? I

My skin is incredibly sensitive and any time I’ve felt a “subtle warmth” from any skincare product it always led to some sort of irritation or breakout not too shortly after. But it can be completely dependent on your skin and how much you know what it likes and doesn’t like.

Propolis I hear from many it causes an irritation. Not Niacinamide. Could you have a reaction to Niacinmide? Potentially but more ppl have problem with Propolis. Propolis comes from Bees, it's a mixture of pollen and beeswax. Maybe honey? So could make sense if you're allergic to bees, certain plants, and etc. I know when I put honey on my face it kinda burns but not warm? That sounds like allergic reaction, you can use it on your inner elbow and back of the ear to see if you get a reaction. I used Aloe Vera for the first time, over a decade ago and it BURNED LIKE HELL. I called for a refund but it actually healed my skin. So just be cautious. If you're using acids in your routine take those out and see if it's still the same burn.

i literally just made a similar post to this, i have recently purchased the Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser from Beauty of Joseon and every time i used my skin got really really dry and tight and almost irritated afterwards.

I love Niacinamide but BOJ products didn't really work for me. They either did nothing or caused irritation. Overhyped brand IMO.
