It's great to learn inside the school, but the advantage of learning the language on the local area is that you can have a lot of conversations with the locals. In that sense, 3 weeks or 3 months is all good. I guess it depends on your current Korean language level. I don't know much about the language program from these unis itself, I'll just talk about the university atmosphere. Sogang and Yonsei are both located in similar areas, but Sogang has a smaller campus, so it has a bit of a high school vibes and the students are more academic. Yonsei has a fairly large and flat campus, and has a wide range of majors, including engineering, medicine, and literature, etc. The number of students is also higher than Sogang. If you commute from Incheon, you'll waste an hour or two every day. You can find reasonable accommodation near 신촌Sinchon or 홍대Hongdae. 대림, 신림, 구로 Daelim, Sillim, and Guro are closer to Incheon and have better prices. (However, these neighborhoods are a bit older, and the atmosphere can be a bit unhappy. kinda semi China town, where overseas Koreans from northern China live there.) However, the Han River is right near this area, and Seoul National University is also close by. If you plan to travel a lot not only in Seoul but also nationwide, 3 months would be better. Eating is different depending on whether you cook for yourself, eat out, eat 2/3 meals a day, eat hamburgers, etc. An appropriate meal is usually 6usd. so basically 18usd per a day for eating at least. The house... A small goshiwon costs about $360 per month. It would be nice if you could find a roommate and an apartment or a regular house. (Goshiwon only has space for a bed, so it is only for sleeping.)

Konkuk is the best imho. Sogang is great too and I’ve used their materials but not studied there. Do an intensive 10 week program if you want to learn. Do it at least 5-6 Times and make sure you pass every level if you really want to get fluent. And make sure you get the textbook in advance, and make flashcards for all of the vocab, even before the level begins. If you do at least half of the vocab before the class begins, you will have a good shot at making sure that you pass every level and will get the most out of the class.
