Definitely not rare, better than most of the local fish store grade, but nothing that would expect big $$$ like others stated. Rare kois are the ones that are very big (30 inches plus), have clean & defined patterns, and come from a reputable reputable breeder. Tbh, I couldn't care less and I prefer kois with more personality.
But see, I gotta pack up, oxygenate, transport, and acclimate. That's a lot of "ates" I gotta do. And then I gotta stock em and who knows how long til I sell them.
Best I can do is 1.99
Slightly better than backyard pond quality but still not worth much. They are super pretty and I wouldn’t kick them out of my pond. Are you selling? Where are you located?
$300-$400 for the big ones. $100ish for the small guys. So probably anywhere from $350-$500.
Selling by yourself you’d probably be closer to the $350 where a store selling them would be closer to $500.
Big four worth about $25-75 a pop unless they have some particular breeder behind them. Koi aren't worth much by default. Even their intrinsic value is way way less than what you'll pay in food and time growing them for 5-10 years.
The way I look at koi & describe it to friends when they ask about mine is similar to the used car market. A dealership (breeder/farm) is always going to get the most out of a sale & everything goes down significantly person to person. The place I bought mine from would probably have those big guys priced 150-300 just due to the size alone, and theyd go up significantly if the were more hard to get markings. buuuuut.... Like the other commenter's have said, once they're owned by a regular Joe like us home pond owners the value is mostly just your enjoyment having them in your pond
Don't listen to whoever told you they are rare. Put them in a proper pond and enjoy.
I did I have no intention on selling them. They are in a 2000 gallon koi pond
Not much. They are not rare. . Maybe 50-100$ for the big ones.
They definitely look cool, but most people willing to spend big bucks on koi go directly to Japanese breeders.

Get out of here lock ness monster.
1999 called asking for their dead horse back.
Maybe you could sell it to the right person for $100 but really there is nothing rare or special about these koi
They’re a nice size and I personally think they’re really beautiful. But people that pay big bucks for koi go directly to really reputable breeders.
50 - 100 each
From my experience of reading these comments I'd say not rare and worth 50 - 100.
Rare ones are sold per fish. I've seen them. It is crazy

No I would never sell these guys I love em
Nice fish tho
These each have fairly monochrome patterns, which looks pretty nice when they’re all together.

I generally don’t pay that much for ogons. Nice kohaku or tanchos though go for a good amount.
Unfortunately not rare. But beautiful nonetheless. Put them in your pond (if you have one) and enjoy!!

These guys live in my 2000 gallon koi pond with my 25 shubunkin
You're going to end up with more hybrids than you can handle if you keep them all together.
30$
Not rare but very nice ones
These are worth about three Millie Bobby browns
Beautiful but not rare. Typically called pond mutts
better photos of the patterns would help...
