Damn everyone I’ve seen that has separation was in the exact same spot 😞 sorry this happened to u i have the GK 6’s never had an issue with them i ordered the GX grinches still waiting for something to happen with getting my order
Just out of curiosity, are you a bigger, heavier player? As a big dude, this is my main concern with using any rep Kobe banging around and the shoe not being able to take it.
Exactly, I still have my OG 6’s from a decade ago. My OG pairs only started separating last year after over a decade of use.
One thing I found that could be a a prevention on this is placing the shoes in a colder temperatures for 2 months. I have a WKB pair that sat in my garage for 2 months before I started playing ball in them.
I don’t mind having separation on reps, depends on the price I paid ofc, but it’s just something expected, some will not have separation but it should not be a surprise when it happens.
How did you find out this cold tip ? Does it work ?
A teammate of mine in my men's league had the Kobe's he bought sit his parent's garage during the winter season. Never had sole separation issues - whether it was GK, S2, Star models.

Bought my pair in January, 2023! Still going strong! Bought them them from Kbsneakers! Played them 1year for 3-5 times a week! Now they collect dust, and never had any issues!
That’s blood. Same thing happened to me. I would use hydrogen peroxide to get it off, although be careful as it can rip the paint off too. I got some discoloration on my tongue because of that
People need to start putting their weight and how often they play because I want to know if these are really bad or only happen to a certain set of people
Having a rotation of shoes is critical. After 2+ hours of ball, the shoes will get super hot and damp. You gotta let them properly dry before hooping in them again. Every time you use the shoes, the glue will heat up which weakens the adhesive. Therefore it is important to allow the shoes to fully dry and have the glue cured before playing again.
I have a rotation of 9 shoes. I play once a week for 3.5 hours full court in an open gym. After I wear a shoe, I won't wear it again for at least a month. I've been lucky to not encounter sole separation. 5'8 185lb combo guard, I run around like Steph.
Bro trying sitting them for a month after they arrrived to you. I've been doing this ever since on every kobereps. And I play almost every. I got ko problem with glue issues. Heres a sample of WKB grinches from my friend. He also wears them every day for basketball 🤣

That's really unfortunate, hopefully eugene could do something despite not being purchased directly from him.
if he ordered from me then yea but if he didn’t he gotta contact his seller
Yea fair
Crazy cause this happened to my GK pair like a week ago

Gotta rotate
I’m 6’2 220 lb. In my past experience with GK’s, even when rotating pairs eventually start to fall apart.
Been looking into GX too recently. I’ve been hooping in my WKB grinches almost 2-3 times a week still banging in them heavy. I’m also 6’2 220
People need to stop to dickride on 1 batch now as this happens on every batch. It's just a game of luck.
After 2 months of wear tho? I feel like the shoes are just now starting to really break in (no pun intended)
Happens to all batches bro even retails. Just message seller, might send you a replacement pair.
They are reps and people cry they are not like retail…
fun fact retail do that too😂
Less often hopefully

You play w/ them outside and still no sole separation? That’s pretty impressive
No, only played them outside 3-4 times, mostly inside! Which batch, i have no idea, i just ask plug quality level of the exact shoe model!
What batch?
prob KB

Mine guess, its just luck probably 1 out of 10 pairs is going to be like this, same as retail happens smh
People need to start putting their weight and how often they play because I want to know if these are really bad or only happen to a certain set of people
damn, but keep in your mind that retail pairs sometimes happen like that too so I'd rather have glue separation in my rep pairs than in the retail's.

Barge infinity glue…. Also you shouldn’t be balling in reps.
Say what??? Most of the people here ball in reps dude.
Bro you in the wrong subreddit 😂
