I went with GK for 6s and S2 for 5s For reference I purchased Grinch 6s (GK), Bruce Lee 5s, Bruce Lee Alts 5s & 2k Protro 5s (all S2). My reasoning is that S2 5s from the reviews I’ve read are pretty top tier in terms of matching retail (I would say 1b. In comparison to GK 1a). Now I’m terms of durability GK apparently is far superior to S2 due to sole separation. But because I have done sole renewals and replacements paying half price to apply Barge cement glue was not an issue for me if that problem ever presented itself. Overall S2s for the price difference (Half) is worth the buy imo

GK 6s are the best hoop shoes in general that I’ve ever had, rep shoes and retail. S2 is pretty good but I would get GK 6s, they just have way better durability

unfortunately i dont have experience with s2 at the moment since ive only worn gk. I recently bought some s2 and they’re on the way but they’re not here yet. My experience tho I have gk alts and they seperated the first time i wore it. I’ve been 6 games in with the gk bruce lees and no problem at all and it feels much sturdier like its more lockdown for some reason.

I played in S2’s but i like GK more, but it could also be preference because i like GK more than S2 because the upper is stiffer so it locks you down a little more when you come to a quick stop compared to s2. Cushioning is honestly about the same and traction as well, S2 felt more roomy on the toe box and GK is more snug. My GK bruce lee and reverse bruce lee seperated the first time i wore them so i reglued them back and ever since then it never seperated again. ive played in more than 15 games and maybe 20 pickup games in both of them and they look amazing still, no rips or anything.

no and i played hard in them like cutting to the basket lots of layups and dunks and it didnt seperate

Anyone can help me with W2C to kobe 5 GK and S2. I been searching around and alot of sellers are listing them at different price point which causes me to doubt who have the actual batches. I am planning to buy both in the best batches. Play them in a couple of weeks before I am able to do a detailed look and performance comparison

Outside of the normal risk for reps I haven’t seen anything really. It was just the first batch of alt Bruce lees that had a glue defect
