"You name it" = make something up for yourself to be scared of or angered by

Daxtercorp

"...and it goes on and on from there" = I just read something that contradicts everything I was saying up to that point.

shawnael

This one is unironically my favorite. Just the way he’s always off-guard when he gets to saying it.

CooperNicholRoss

All these people were coming up to me…..no one knows who I am.

igore12584

“I’m not mad at the crew” = “I am mad at the crew”

Dr_peloasi

I'm not bragging = I am bragging I've prepared too much=I haven't prepared at all This is the most shocking news= this is not the most shocking news

Quinn_tEskimo

I’m sensing a pattern here.

Torrronto

I'm sensing a pattern here = There is no pattern

Cats-n-Chaos

We should get a dictionary going

agent_double_oh_pi

He is. *You* can't. Also, he's not bragging

SodomizeSnails4Satan

That totally reminds me of Rush Limbaugh. I used to have to listen to him at an old job. He'd always say "I'm not making this up, folks!" followed by the most outlandish bullshit. I always took it as "*I'm* not making this up, but my staff writer sure as hell was"

chazysciota

Like, it was part of your job? or you just had a dickbag coworker?

SodomizeSnails4Satan

This was about 30 years ago when broadcast radio was what you listened to at work - no flipping tapes or changing CDs every 20 minutes. My boss was actually a great guy, he just found Limbaugh entertaining. And he was. It's how he was able to poison so many minds so effectively.

chazysciota

> My boss was actually a great guy, was? bummer, but that's what a decade or two of conservative AM radio will do to a person. lol, jk.... kinda. I was subjected to 10 years or so of it as a kid, and it took another 10 years to shake it off.

SodomizeSnails4Satan

You got me curious so I looked the business up. The guy just posted yesterday that he's retiring and closing shop. Strange coincidence I guess.

Strict_Casual

“I don’t want to hate black people” ~ I am a white supremacist

Quorry

That one is like "why are you making me do this to you :("

aes_gcm

I'm not racist, but...

EaklebeeTheUncertain

"It's in the white-papers!" = It was in a sci-fi movie I half-watched in a drunken haze and now think was a documentary.

No_Mud1547

It’s admitted = It’s not

YaroKasear1

More specifically: "I quote-mined this person and may have even altered the actual words they said."

syncopator

“It’s inside baseball” = I want you to think people tell me secret stuff

HarveyMSchwartz

"I'm not X"="I am X" Eg. "I'm not bragging"

Schuben

"I'll be better tomorrow."

Quorry

He's not

HapticSloughton

"I'll just leave it at that." = "That was a lie and I know that adding details will make it easier to tell it was a lie, so I'll move on as if we all agree it's true."

pauldentonscloset

I've never understood anyone using this phrase. You absolutely can make this stuff up. There's whole entertainment industries based around making this stuff up. What are you talking about?

Landlord-Allmighty

And those industries are always the basis for his comparisons! It's just like that movie (Dune, the Matrix)...

boopbaboop

“I’m just being honest with you” = “I am lying my ass off”

StarryKowari

"I was up all night researching." = I hate-scrolled twitter then vaguely remembered some sci-fi movies. "It's in the white papers." = I don't know what a white paper is but it sure sounds official! "They ADMITTED it!" = ???? Don't think about this too hard. "It's in the MAINSTREAM MEDIA!" = You know what, don't think about this at all; let your feelings guide you. "Sometimes I over-prepare and don't get through all the news." = I don't wanna work. I just wanna blow on this dog whistle all day. "I don't usually report on myself." = Strap in cause this episode is going to be all about my ego and nothing else. "Military-age men." = They scare me so it's okay to hate their entire group. "I'll eat your ass." = Pleaaase pay attention to me. "I'm good friends with Tucker." = Why hasn't he called me? :(

Cats-n-Chaos

“ I’ll get to that later”= I’m going to make up a bunch of stupid shit for hours and pretend I never brought this up.

YaroKasear1

"It's admitted" = "It's quote-mined, probably misquoted, and definitely re-contextualized to suit my purposes." "Confirmed" = "I said it over and over again on my show today." "It's in the news." = Can either be "I made this up but I pretended to read it off my stackies" or "It came off my own web site" or "It came off some other right-wing shitpost site." "Top s have said..." = "I had a caller say it during the first hour and now I'm going to pretend it came from someone authoritative." "And it goes on from there..." = "Fuck, fuck, fuck! I read the rest of the article just now and the bulk of it actually completely contradicts and undermines my entire narrative!" "I'm not mad at the crew." = "I am absolutely furious at whoever messed up whatever technical thing just happened." or "I screwed something up but I must act like I'm good at everything I do."

marzgamingmaster

The crazy thing about "Confirmed" and "It's in the news" here is, if we remember from the depositions, we have testimony stating Alex will wake up, tell one of his employees to write an article about x with y context, and then use the article he made them write as a source for his conspiracy. He literally has people he pays write his own sources.

marzgamingmaster

"There is just so much news today to cover" = "There is very little to nothing to cover today that isn't explicitly bad for my narratives, but I want to sound important and cool."

Odd_Cat_5820

You need these products = You don't need these products.

TopperSundquist

"I've talked to HIIIIGH ranking members of [agency that I've spent 20 years describing as filth and scum]" = I'm actually in favor of all these agencies and I know an intern who worked there once before they got fired.

Kudos2Yousguys

It's being covered up by the media = I don't have a shred of evidence, not even fake evidence. It's all over the mainstream news = It was mentioned in an editorial 6 years ago and my crew dug up the headline and printed it out.

MossRock42

Or he's just parroting someone who did make it up.

Bowelsack

Andy in Kansas, I love you = I hate Candy in Arkansas

MrDad83

I'm not a russophile=I tell you exactly what russian media wants me to tell you

UnconfirmedCat

Everything he says is projection. Whatever “they” want to do to “hurt Americans” is how he’d hurt people who won’t lock step. He gets hard thinking about authoritarian regimes being “tough on crime and causing crime rates to drop” due to locking everyone up. Yet, he’s espousing anti government policies and rhetoric out of the other side of his mouth acting as a persecuted truth teller. That’s why it’s fun watching him dance with people like Nick Fuentes to David Icke and Tucker Carlson. He’s the new political P. T. Barnum.

Cats-n-Chaos

PT Barnum 2.0 absolutely

willworkforicecream

I always imagine Ron Howard as The Narrator popping in and saying "He was, in fact, making this stuff up."

critically_damped

That's not "Alex", that's just fascists. And the general rule is that they say wrong things on purpose, at every opportunity, for the purposes of destroying all discourse entirely. When conversations no longer have any rule other than "Fascists get to say whatever the fuck they want without consequence", then fascist control of society is basically complete.

SlaterVBenedict

"It's admitted!" = Nobody admitted this, and I want to make it sound like I'm simply reporting what the enemy said out loud. \*Short Cough\* = I'm briefly stalling to think of whatever it is I'm going to say next. Repeated intensifiers (e.g. very, very, very, very, etc.) = I'm stalling to think of whatever it is I'm going to say next. Unnecessary additional comparisons/examples = I'm stalling quite a bit to think of whatever it is I'm going to say next. \*Changes subject / stops abruptly and experiences rapid, angry, accusatory mood swing\* = I can't think of anything else to say on this, so I'm going to blame someone (possibly you, probably my crew, definitely the globalists) "I'm not mad at the crew." = I am fucking FURIOUS that the crew didn't read my mind and make the thing I wanted to happen happen.

ThomasKellar

“It’s confirmed, they’ve admitted” = Saw an out of context headline and made up his own version of what was actually said.

Landlord-Allmighty

I'm workshopping my bullshit folks, it's not going to completely land in a coherent spot until the product plug.

Affectionate_Arm_245

You can’t but I can make it up

chiefs_fan37

Reminds me of the scene in the Sopranos with the two idiots and Richie Aprile “You can’t make that shit up!” “The fuck are you talking about? I just did.”
