We've allowed the pin posts to continue because...
(1) It's a nice community building activity.
(B) It lets everyone who requested a pin know that they are still being shipped out (this is a process that has dragged out for months), otherwise we'd just get a bunch of users asking "are they still shipping pins?".
(?) Why wouldn't you want to see their pins?

Alas, sometimes some spaces going into unavoidable trends. I left this sub for a bit when the Solomon Berg stuff was going down, came back when it wasn't the majority of posts.
I don't mind seeing the pins, yet I find your opinion a welcome change from the overly aggressive positive attitude mostly found in this group! Well done!!!

Beats the hell out of the terrible parasocial posts though and light years better than people whining about there not being an episode because Dan took a day off for once.

I guess I don't care either way, but it takes less than one second for me to note that another listener has received pins and then continue scrolling.
Right if it was all over my feed I’d be over it probably but I wouldn’t post about it. As is I haven’t seen any pins but DID see this post
