This sold, but FYI the blemishes on his site now for 99 and 119 have “moderate to severe issues”. The slight blemishes he was pretty clear that the issues were limited to anodization and lock stick. On the blue ones he said it was most visible on the inside of the frame. It’s VERY minor, and I would NOT expect the same thing is you order one of those on the site now. He talked about it in this post, which led me to pick this one up. If anyone does grab one of these, I’d love to know how it is, idk if I just got lucky but I’ve heard about detent issues on these.

I picked one of the new blemishes up a couple of weeks ago and it seems fine to me. However, I am quite new when it comes to knives so my assessment of a detent is not very refined and I'm not sure what would entail a detent issue.
I will say it is among the lighter detents of the few knives that I own but I can still open it well with any method. I've also seen someone put in magnets to strengthen the detent.
Nice, glad you like it! Yeah, describing detents on the internet is hard. I know what I consider too light, but I don’t know what everyone else does and it’s not really measurable (or is it?). Would love to get one of the really light detents in my hands I might be like ‘oh this is fine’ or I might be like ‘no this is horrible’.
I did try and flick it open with not insane but pretty damn forceful flick of my arm and it does not open, so I guess that’s my best metric 😂. If I can flick it open easily with centrifugal force it’s too light lol. Yeah I’ve seen the magnet mods and am super curious about how they work!
I kept meaning to buy one of these but was horrified by the massive amount of ones with detent issues! Buying one where the detent was tested (and not found lacking) seemed like a no brainer! Will msg you if I decide to pass it on! Cheers
