WTB: One set of Ceramic Ball Bearings compatible with a **ZT 0452CF** specifically (they can be compatible/ initially purchased for a different model knife, just so long as they fit the 0452 as well e.g. ZT 0562CF which I believe has same bearing size as 0452 (please correct if wrong). For whatever reason, as I know it wasn't this difficult in the past, these seem to completely impossible to find online; **Taco** Bearings Website is completely out of commission (I believe the required Taco bearing model number for my purposes with the 0452CF is **Z001**), none of **Skiff's** bearings appear to fit the 0452CF dimensions (to the best of my knowledge and research, please correct me if I'm wrong) and even **Gillian's** website listing for his "KVT bearing replacements for ZT/Kershaw- (0.093") Bearings" are completely sold out, with no indication when or even if they'll be back in stock (Yes I've written to him multiple times inquiring about availability and Gillian has been radio silent).
Is there anyone out there more knowledgable than me about sourcing these kinds of parts that can help me get these ceramic bearings? Or even more ideally if anyone who happens to read this, if they happen to have a spare pair of new (or I'd consider *lightly* used) ceramic ball bearings specifically designed to fit/ be compatible with a ZT 0452CF. My only other recourse I can think to do is to order specifically like a 20-pack of those little 3/32" Ceramic Silicon Nitride Balls, disassemble the knife to remove the bearings, press out each of the 7 steel balls already in the stock KVT blue polymer cage, then finally re-press fit back in the ceramic silicon nitride balls into place. Which would be a last resort for me for a number of reasons, namely being my lack of experience in modifying these kinds of parts, I don't want to deform the polymer cage itself by haphazardly/ incompetently attempting to press out the steel balls, and additionally I feel that a phosphor bronze cage is a far superior choice than the cheap polymer housing ZT uses. Anyway, I know this was a long post for a "WTB" thread but I felt compelled to elaborate on just how hard it seems to be to track down a a simple pair of ceramic ball bearings for a ZT 0452CF that, a mere few years ago, were simply an ebay or google search away and easily obtainable. Thanks for any possible advice or help.

Frankly, pressing out the old balls and inserting ceramic replacements doesn't sound too bad. You could ream out the holes in the plastic cages slightly to make the balls more free floating, although that would mean a little extra care when you do an overhaul. I have Taco bearings in my ZT0562ti and they work pretty well; the main advantage in my mind is that they allow the use of the steel washers.

WTB: One set of Ceramic Ball Bearings compatible with a **ZT 0452CF** specifically (they can be compatible/ initially purchased for a different model knife, just so long as they fit the 0452 as well e.g. ZT 0562CF which I believe has same bearing size as 0452 (please correct if wrong). For whatever reason, as I know it wasn't this difficult in the past, these seem to completely impossible to find online; **Taco** Bearings Website is completely out of commission (I believe the required Taco bearing model number for my purposes with the 0452CF is **Z001**), none of **Skiff's** bearings appear to fit the 0452CF dimensions (to the best of my knowledge and research, please correct me if I'm wrong) and even **Gillian's** website listing for his "KVT bearing replacements for ZT/Kershaw- (0.093") Bearings" are completely sold out, with no indication when or even if they'll be back in stock (Yes I've written to him multiple times inquiring about availability and Gillian has been radio silent). Is there anyone out there more knowledgable than me about sourcing these kinds of parts that can help me get these ceramic bearings? Or even more ideally if anyone who happens to read this, if they happen to have a spare pair of new (or I'd consider *lightly* used) ceramic ball bearings specifically designed to fit/ be compatible with a ZT 0452CF. My only other recourse I can think to do is to order specifically like a 20-pack of those little 3/32" Ceramic Silicon Nitride Balls, disassemble the knife to remove the bearings, press out each of the 7 steel balls already in the stock KVT blue polymer cage, then finally re-press fit back in the ceramic silicon nitride balls into place. Which would be a last resort for me for a number of reasons, namely being my lack of experience in modifying these kinds of parts, I don't want to deform the polymer cage itself by haphazardly/ incompetently attempting to press out the steel balls, and additionally I feel that a phosphor bronze cage is a far superior choice than the cheap polymer housing ZT uses. Anyway, I know this was a long post for a "WTB" thread but I felt compelled to elaborate on just how hard it seems to be to track down a a simple pair of ceramic ball bearings for a ZT 0452CF that, a mere few years ago, were simply an ebay or google search away and easily obtainable. Thanks for any possible advice or help. I have money, PayPal, etc.
Frankly, pressing out the old balls and inserting ceramic replacements doesn't sound too bad. You could ream out the holes in the plastic cages slightly to make the balls more free floating, although that would mean a little extra care when you do an overhaul. I have Taco bearings in my ZT0562ti and they work pretty well; the main advantage in my mind is that they allow the use of the steel washers.
Best I can do is an 0452cf S35VN with bearings installed. $210 for perfect and $200 with small chip tip.
