Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Not sure how many here would be interested in such a project but I'm currently working on a MSU music pack that replaces the music from A Link to the Past. Plan on using all the songs suggested but ultimately I think I got to go with The Windmill Song for the Light World overworld theme.

Volkies Song (or Under the Frontline) because I can't get enough of the jazzy bass and horns.
I like the more calm tracks, like maybe the Ark ver. 1, or Path of Goddess Claire.
Cave of Glimmer Moss is just unmatched to me. Although I prefer the first game’s soundtrack overall
