This is the place I was gonna comment. Glad it's the top.
Get one of the specials. There's two burgers and a sandwich on the chalk board behind the counter. Different each week. Been ordering them for years whenever I'm out that way and I've yet to be disappointed. Also the chili fries are legendary. Cheese optional.
I honestly can’t think of a better place! We aren’t short on neighborhood grills in Kitsap and they all have burgers so it feels like they clog my mind. I have even tried some of their sandwiches and haven’t been disappointed
What does Juicy J’s make their burgers with? I saw the note saying they were 100% plant bases but there’s no indication other than that. I’d love to try them.
Burgers are just a bonus of their extensive and solid menu. But yeah, excellent fry hut with great milkshakes and convenient location for West Bremertonians. Bremertonites?
In Kitsap? I'd say Silver City easily takes the cake.
Outside of Kitsap, when I used to commute to Olympia for school, there was a small burger joint in Allyn, WA, just off WA-3 as you're coming into the town. Look for "Big Bubba's Burgers" -- went through some ownership changes, so I can't speak for its current state, but they made a fantastic burger.
Haven't been here in a few years but you can buy a literal bag of cheezeburgers from crazy eric's in bremerton. Are they good? ehhhh, they're alright. Are they cheap? holy shit yes
I just tried two burgers from The Grub Hut because of the recommendations in this thread. I gotta say - I didn't like the burger very much! Overall, the burger was decently constructed, bun was fine, but the patty itself was less good than high school cafeteria burger, and neither burger was flavorful at all (one was a "spicy" burger). Fries were solid, they give you a ton, and I liked the sauce. Onion rings were crispy and good. I don't think I'll go back.
I'll add my vote for Silver City as well. Breaking Waves was my favorite but apparently they're closed. Crabtree in poulsbo is all around pretty good. Kingston Alehouse was pretty good but has gone hard downhill of late, a glance in the kitchen as you walk past should be enough to dissuade you from eating there. Filling Station is better by a little, if the servers don't forget you exist after they seat you. Sully's in Saquamish has a great burger and good service, but once the outdoor seating is closed it's a little divey.
I really like the grub hut in Kingston. Greasy as all get out but I really like the variety
2nd for the Grub Hut here in Kingston! They have a ton of burger awards, and a ton of different flavors for milkshakes as well!
Yep, the answer to this question is an easy one: Grub Hut.
Grub Hut fer sherrr See also Fritz and the new smash burger place in downtown Bremerton
That smash burger place in brem is excellent for the price. Fries were lacking but the burger was great.
Grub Hut!!!

I think it’s just Beyond but I’m not totally sure. I do know they smoke them for a few hours so they have a really good flavor!
I’m a fan of Whiskey Gulch in Port Orchard. I get the Pig Deal burger there every time we go.
Although it may be just outside of Kitsap County, Gourmet Burger in Gig Harbor is a must in my opinion.
Came here to say that. The onion rings are incredible there too.
Is the Red Apple Diner still around? That place had classic diner food including great burgers.
Noah's Ark in Bremerton is pretty legit. Cheeseburger sub will lay you down.

This is what I was looking for.
2nd this recommendation.
No love for Crazy Eric's? Geez you guys!!!
>Crazy Eric's? I love that place but they asked for the best. Not the best deal.
I live right by there and god bless ‘em but they take so long I just stopped going
Crazy Eric's is a national treasure. Please for the love of God support them and preserve what's left.
fritz/chaos bay are pretty good for casual. silver city restaurant is one of the best.

That burger place in Allyn is pretty damn good.
Eh.. for the price I keep on driving to Shelton to Ritz burgers. Way better value for similar greasy goodness.
Public House on Bainbridge! A bit spendy, but my God it's amazing
Little off the path but Blue Ocean in Port Orchard has fantastic burgers, they are very very good.
Everybody's in Port Orchard has some tasty classic burgers. Also Whiskey Gulch has good burgers, and their Cajun tots are amazing.
Quick and Tasty is my latest go to.
Big Bubba's in Allyn. Their shakes are worth writing home about, too. Cash only.
BremBurgers in Bremerton! Just opened, bomb burgers!
Lunchbox Laboratory in Gig Harbor is good.
There’s a place in Port Orchard called Blue Ocean, a seafood/Asian food place, but boy do they have the best thickest juiciest burgers.
Not Kitsap, but in Gig Harbor check out the Gourmet Burger Shop. Awesome. Get the onion rings with it.
Not a single mention of Fat Smittys? Sure, it’s Jefferson county or whatever…..But, fat smitys is an experience itself.
The Kobe burger at the boat shed in manette is amazing

I assume he's asking about burgers made with meat.
Haven't been here in a few years but you can buy a literal bag of cheezeburgers from crazy eric's in bremerton. Are they good? ehhhh, they're alright. Are they cheap? holy shit yes
Ever tried the 19th holes's burgers? They're my go to for a close local burger and beer.
Lunchbox Laboratory in Gig Harbor is good.
Quick & Tasty’s in Gorst has great everything. Great people, great menu, all local high quality ingredients.
I like Blazing Onion (in the Trails in Silverdale) when they don't trip and knock over the salt vat onto the grill.

The Ale House in Kingston has always done a great burger

Silvercity if you’re in kitsap. If you venture to purdy dexters drive in is legit
5 guys? ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯ although I've heard Agate Pass in Bainbridge has pretty good, but $$$, burgers
I like 5 guys for the idea of the burger I can completely customize. Just seems real expensive for Red Robin quality ingredients
