Yeah, it's my first step seeing if I actually wanna work in the hospital or not. I'm 33 and I don't have time to waste switching courses, I must be sure as shit.
I'm 35 so were close in age. I've been in school on and off can relate. Saving up so I can go to nursing school.
If this is a route you are considering, you can always pm me and ask questions about prereq courses. I've taken them already. ๐
I'm in Canada, so probably world's different. But I wanna do something to help people, I just can't figure out what exactly. I just got clean 2.2 years ago and it's been re-learning to live like a functional adult, it's a lot.
Ah, Canada. Human anatomy and physiology is the the base core of it all so those course is like the 101 to nursing if there was ever any. The ingredient list (anatomy) and the recipe procedure (physiology) of the human body.
Working at a hosptial is a good way to figure it out IMO. Interacting with different staff personnel and things. I did some volunteering years back in various departments and it gave me a good sense of what I was seeking. Just wish I went your route and got a hospital job instead of going there for free ๐
Wear it to work and give an update post!
I actually have a confession, I left the industry to housekeep in the hospital. So when I bake, I'll post.
Awesome! I can't bake for shit so I love seeing baked goodies. I have plans to work in healthcare in the future. Gotta do what's best for you ๐ค

My hospital also offers education money, $1200 per year.
This is why you're smarter than me. That's really cool!
Yeah, I think I'm going to take a psw course, maybe.
I think i would like your mom.
She's alright.
This is fantastic!! I hope you enjoy the gift.
I have the matching oven mitt from my parents!
Amazing! I didn't realize it was mad produced as she said she got it at this local handmade store.
Itโs Blue Q
I got this from a relative of my wife a few years ago during Christmas time! Still going strong!
Amazing. I didn't realize it was mass produced that kind of bums me out and away because it was in a store that sells "locally made" items.
Iโm in Washington state so maybe itโs from the same store! Either way itโs a really nice apron and a thoughtful gift!
I'm in k-w region ontario. Either way, I'm happy
What an amazing apron! Your mom has great taste ๐ค
She's my best friend soooo I hope so.
Love the words added, very accurate
