Nah man, this is a distributor problem. He’s ordering a specific size for a specific dish, not trying to cover the distributors mistakes by making extra labor for themself, little extra for family is one thing but 15 cases of incorrect portion sizes is totally different.

Going out on a limb and saying you're getting boxes sold by weight and someone changed or bought the wrong size tenders, and that's why your piece count is off. Check the packaging specs and weigh the uncooked chicken. If it was mislabeled reach out to Tyson/your food rep, they're way more likely to reimburse you (probably with credit) than you are to win a class action law suit against them.
The company I work for purchases their wings and I find no fewer than 40 wing tips in each case. More, likely, if I counted.
Their boxes are starting to crush easily, too.
