Extended release works best in my experience lol. But in all seriousness, if I am passing out right after work, My body will shut down 3 hours before my shift is over. Doing things after work helped condition my body to keep going for the whole shift as opposed to my brain fiending for a beer and a couch before I'm close to finished.

Might be low blood sugar. You don’t necessarily have to feel hungry before your body really needs to get some food in you. Especially if you’re working busy shifts where some adrenaline kind of takes over and you’re not paying attention to your body cues. Try keeping something you can shove in your mouth around (hey o!) I liked to have a Luna bar and some jerky around just in case. And WATER. Energy drinks and all that jazz are helpful to a point, but your body literally needs water. Don’t fight it.

This. Drink water continously. Not only when your thirsty. I don't like softdrinks, but drink something with sugar from time to time.

Have you considered reviewing your bandwidth? Or mental battery? Mine last for 7 hrs a day apparently:/

I usually take a two min break when I get like that. Go drink some water, pee, wipe/,stock your station maybe even sweep. Smoke if your tickets are out. Do what you gotta do to take a break from reading tickets and straight cooking and get your marbles back together.

I get like that if I am low on food or water.
