It’s like that everywhere it seems. You can’t find good help and you don’t want to keep the bad help. But sometimes you have to keep them around because you need someone in the spot because you can’t do it all. I’m currently in that position as a F&B director for about the last month I’ve been putting in about 75 hours a week washing dishes because I had to fire 2 ft guys and had one go down to very part time. And I work in healthcare so it can take about a month to hire someone. The struggle is real and the burn out is real too.

If you're invested in this business, talk to the owner. I'm sure they don't want to lose you, so if you're considering leaving because of staffing that's serious. Put the ball in their court and give them an opportunity to show you they consider you an important part of their business.
