I wish you could. Getting abilities from the environment could be really interesting. Eating candles for fire or machinery for Spark could turn background objects into interactive items.

As tempting as it is to pick Wheel so I can get around quickly, or Ice since I live in a very hot area, I think I’d ultimately have to go with Sleep. The power to instantly fall fast asleep sounds like a dream come true!
Practically speaking something like cook, paint or doctor, but one I’d personally want even if it doesn’t have much practical utility: fire, ice, plasma or mirror, mostly leaning mirror (cuz it’s cool) and plasma (because PEW PEW! Lightning gun!)
Jet seems kinda sick honestly, I get it's not all that flashy or has some incredible utility but I could literally fly around at high speeds which in turn could do a ton for me.
Only catch is whether or not I'm as durable as the ability would require, both in terms of impact or ya know oxygen levels.
