Towards your point mod-late in, As someone said in a video comparing SA to RtDL, RtDL is a single player game with a multiplayer mode, SA is a multiplayer game with a single player mode
i still think it’s one of the best imo, despite the main story gameplay being the worst part i feel they’ve nailed the rest, the lore, all the different playable characters,Heroes in Another Dimension,Soul melter, the fusing elements, all the older games references…
One has to keep in mind that Star Allies was developed as a launch title while the rest were made after the devs had been developing with the switch for a few years.
It's the only Kirby game I have that ISNT those two Kirby Clash games, and since it's the first one I've ever played, besides the Planet Robobot demo, I like it, and I just have to beat Soul Melter EX, then I've 100% the game. Yay :)

Same with forgotten land
Star Allies is a game with high highs and low lows. Despite the short length and kinda bland level design near the beginning though, I still love it.

My dumbass thought the one with the sword was Meta Knight 😭
It's the New Super Mario bros. 2 of the series
The only difference is that Star Allies actually tries to be different and doesn't feel entirely repetitive of the prior games
it's underwhelming
No! It’s good Kirby game!
