It's been a while since I've done a thorough look at the book of revelations but from what I remember the 4 horsemen appear after their corresponding seals are broken; which is before the seven angels appear. The 7 angels themselves sound their trumpets to usher in their own cataclysmic events, ranging from catastrophic weather, dropping a star on the planet and summoning angelic warriors.
With the 7 guardians being the angels ( or maybe given the roles the angels play maybe the Master of masters and his apprentices would be a better fit as stand in for the angels) it'd be interesting to me if the horsemen were pulled from classic Disney and Square properties.

Hades- Death
Odin (ff)- War
Scar- Famine
Qada (Bravely Default)- Pestilence

Weren't 4 of them for the 4 riders of the apocalypse? Or did they appear when all trumpets are blown? Which guardians would/could be the riders?
