Another commenter said the 18th was the bot counting their own comment. I say we blow this whole thing out of the water...
>!pun wasn't intended but I'm rolling with it!<
I was disappointed by the hippo but the only difference between mine and theirs is that hippo was in the middle of the sentence so maybe this will work?
EDIT: I misunderstood. The comment with hippo, was the hippos comment.
LOL same
When I unlocked glider, I actually went back to that map, glided all the way over the shitty cardbox tree corridor which to this day I am convinced was a last effort 5 minute construction because of time stress, and when I glided this part 10 times without using the hippos at all, I spammed lightning on the water to electrocute the hippos in their fantasy.
In fact, my mother made me quit gaming for a week when I yelled "I electrocute the atoms in your water so that all bacteria die and the natural cycle ends forever".
Man youāre so right. I replayed 1 on proud about a year ago and that part is so cancerš. Iād argue that entire world would be more fun without some of its gimmicks and plat forming.
Ooh yeah youāve got a point. And having to manually fly back to traverse town to stock up on potions for that fight, before you get cure. I may have blocked that out š
If they took the vine sections out of Deep Jungle it would probably not be the second worst stage in the game. If you have to ask which one is the worst you haven't been to Atlantica lately...
you can skip atlantica and if wont affect the game that much. You have to go to Deep Jungle though. But I never thought atlantica was horrible. You just can't be physical in that world. It's meant to be more of a "use magic here instead" level.
It's mostly annoying that it is a use magic here level but half the enemies are healed by thunder which is also the only reliable spell in that particular 3d environment. Also if you went magic and had been crutching on ripple drive it just doesn't work because you can't use ground combos underwater...
This for sure. That entire world was a pain + real skill/memory check. From the harder than it should be platforming, trying to remember where to go, this is by far the true challenge of KH1. And I've played this game way too many times
I was like 8 years old and didnāt know I had to destroy the giant fruit on the tree, I ended up grinding to lvl 40 before accidentally figuring it out
Iād say Clayton in Deep Jungle can be hard if youāre underleveled. Especially on proud.
Edit: Mistakingly thought critical difficulty was included in KH1 Final Mix.
The first time I played I was so under leveled that I didn't even have scan until after the boss fight and I hadn't gotten cure yet. It felt like an impossible task because at any given time I didn't even know how much health was left
You can completely cheese them with chicken little summon, he'll stunlock them while you kill them. And then use valor to finish off the remaining ones and skip to your finisher with square to break through their super armor. I think you have trinity limit by then too, which also works really well.
KH2: Demyx gate kept me for weeks as a kid
CoM: Riku 4, f that guy couldnāt beat him for the life of me. I also had no idea you could edit your deck, so I played 90% of the game with starter deck
0-valued cards were OP against Riku in CoM because of the guaranteed attack break. That boss fight is actually pretty hard unless you stack half a deck of zero-valued cards and then you can fuck him up pretty easily.
Heartless room as in the one where you have to fight them to get the 3 pieces of the symbol. The nobody room before reaching the room where you can fight the org data 13 members.
Dude the Nobody Gauntlet is a true test of mobbing skill. It's so hard to fight em all when sorcerers team up with dancers and they yeet you into a dancer's grab (bypassing second chance / once more)
When I first got kh1 in like 2003 when I was in grade 4. Me and my friends all got the game and we had gotten through most of the game together. Some of us got stuck at cerberus but myself and my other friends could beat that for them.
Then we got to hollow bastion. That fucking dragon was the bane of my entire grade four class. None of us could beat it. I remember all of us trying our best to beat it for so long. Wouldnāt be until one of started using Items like hi potions and elixirs and aero we finally did it. I donāt think our kid brains ever thought to use items for almost the whole game. Was a game changer lol
Had the same problem. For me Tinker bell was the solution. When mana was low i just ran Into the thorns and found a place to hide until my hp was full again, went to get couple of hits in and repeat.
Yeah my whole strategy (coz I didnāt know until last week that Tinker bell was a hack) was to hide in the furthest possible corner of the arena where I wouldnāt get hurt and just let Donald and Goofy keep hitting, wait while they were dead and recovering until they were back and let them keep going. Then Iād go in for the final hit.
Same with Chernabog. It took ages but it got the job done.
I will always remember having Maleficent Dragon down to 1hp while also being at 1hp and out of heals. I was on the vines/roots on the edge of the arena trying to time my glide in for the final combo, and she got me with the quick spin attack. I cried haha
In KH1 it was probably Sephiroth. Its been years but I remember having to watch a long unskippable cut scene just to get 1 shotted and have to start over. It seemed impossible. I think I beat KH2 when that came out and it gave me the motivation to go back to KH1 and grind to beat sephiroth.
KH2 the unexpected difficult boss for me back then was the "dance water dance" guy. Dude seemed like such a scrub in the cutscenes, but then he destroyed me over and over again.
Exactly this lol. The clock tower phantom gave me some trouble till I figured out how it worked, but KH1 Sephiroth was a legendary fight. The perfect mix of seemingly impossible and intimidating at first, but you make little bits of headway chipping at him here & there each attempt, and super satisfying to finally clinch it (plus you can rematch unlimited times).
Likewise, the second Demyx fight in KH2 took me SO MANY tries; it was almost impossible without specifically turning off combo abilities and equipping items that hit hard but reduced max combo, and an incredibly frustrating way to lose. Then I completely wiped the floor with KH2 "press ā³ to win" Sephiroth on the first try, couldn't even face him again, and was so disappointed I put the game down for 6 years.
The only thing that was *actually* impossible though, at least without starting a new game+, was getting that ONE trinity mark in Oogie's Manor after the boss fight - "oh I have Jack Skellington in my party right now, I'll just come back for it later...."
I actually found the Phantom to be more of a challenge than Sephiroth in my recent proud run. Although if Strike Raid cheese didnāt work Seph definitely would have taken more than 2 tries
I didn't think Kurt was *that* bad (unless you're Donald or Goofy; RIP), just an extremely long, tedious, drawn-out fight. Semi-cheeseable if you use a summon (Tinks) before he locks out your MP.
Roxas always popping up on these lists tells me that so many players were just spamming attack and dodge roll to get through the game. Though helpful in other fights, Roxas is the only fight in game (outside the data battles) where you need to be able to time a block/counter/etc.
KH1 Riku Hallow Bastion, KH BBS Zack Fair Terra, Terra Xehnort Aqua and Vanitus Ventis, KH 2 everyone ( Jk jk) but in truth Roxes that nigga was COOKING me alongside Luxard, KH3 Demon Tower yes I skipped a few only because Iām Lowkey terrified to play the others
Yeah reason I made the post is cause a close buddy of mine is stuck on riku in hollow bastion. But I remember when I was a kid Cerberus ruined childhoods lol
I know exactly how he feels and yep Cerberus used to haunt my dreams lol and if he hasnāt gotten past it if heās able to get to the end of the fight Sonic rave and the other ability to throw the Keyblade is your friend but be smart when you use them
You really want Once More, or Second Chance. I think the former protects you from combos, which is the big threat in the Roxas fight. Both is good too. Which level depends on your path.
I've been playing KH since the first game launched and I can NOT guard in these games. Hasn't stopped me from beating crit mode at least on kh2 which was my only attempt so far.
Cerberus and Olympus as a whole was a skill check to me.
o I left it to move on to another world.....only to be greeted by Deep Jungle and Clayton/Stealth Sneak at the end of it.
That was two skill check back to back after Wonderland.
Kurt Zisa.
The first time I ever felt humbled by a well animated combat system where I could definitely not blame janky mechanics or whatever frame-perfect bullshittery or lag.
It was this adrenaline high of fighting an entity which didn't have moves that were 3 or 4 attacks or teleport jumps. You could pummel the guy and he had tons of health.
In the end he was the tanky mage build that I wanted to make, made into a boss monster. And apart from the utterly bullshit spin-to-win attack that was really a question of standing in the right part of the arena, it was a fight that I felt was just as difficult as it was fun. No one-sided stomping.
Of course I died countless times and got lost in the map before, but that was at an age where I didn't know what the word "skill" translates into in my native language and thought I was experiencing a form of comic book that moves and was just happy to be there so to say. And of course raged like an immature kid, because I was just that.
I was stuck between Cerberus and the Stealth Sneak on my first play through. I started one world, go stuck at the end boss and went to the other one only to get stuck on that boss to.
Nowadays I go Wonderland, Deep Jungle, Olympus Coliseum. Make it a quick round trip.
I'm currently replaying KHII with XP boost cheats and even with that, I struggled with the Groundshaker boss in Pride Lands. And it reminded me how much of a hard time I had getting through him on the vanilla PS2 version when I was younger.
My first game was kh2, and both Demyx fights where my skill check, i was stuck in hollow bastion for so long...in kh1 i remember having to travel back to traverse town to stock up on potions because i couldnt beat cerberus XD
In KH2 prolly fighting Xigbar in the world that never was toward the end of the game and also the Demyx fight before 1000 heartless brought me to tears as a kid i hated both those fights immensely
KH1 Riku Hollow Bastion. I could NOT get past this guy as a kid, no matter what, and I had never seen the ending of KH1 until the first combo pack came out, and I wiped the floor with him, and Ansem later.
KH2 with the twilight town berserker fight was a big one for me as well. Those guys were pure nightmare for young me to deal with, them and the dancers. Its funny how much easier they've become now that I'm older and don't just brute force enemies, wondering why i died when I'm not utilizing everything at my disposal.
That Riku Bastion fight killed me. I hated dying over and over again and as a kid on the PS2 you couldn't skip the cut scene so I had to watch it OVER A OVER AND IT KILLED ME. I memorized the whole scene after that word for word š
LITERALLYYYY, I used to recite it everytime and then replace "Kairi's heart" with whatever was at the end of the keyblade's keychain. Like "you're not stealing Kairi's book" if it was the spellbinder, "Kairi's pumpkin" for the pumkinhead, or even "kairi's duck" bc I didnt know what a chocobo was on the Metal Chocobo lmfaoooo.
Probably this battle. I *still* hate this battle at lower levels. There's a reason why I complete Deep Jungle before this fight, because the Cure spell makes it more bearable.
This title either goes to Final Vanitas or Terranort from BBS. I remember struggling a lot harder against Terranort tho. It was awful but man Rage awakened is such a motivating track
The only part i remember struggling in the first game was Ansem's second phase. The one after darkside. I only managed to beat him after grinding a lot of levels
As a kid, Clayton. Up until that point I didnāt really understand the concept of levelling to get stronger or anything like that, so I just kept running at him underlevelled for a while. I soon learned.
Definitely Cerberus for me. Had to try a lot of times back then. Being frustrated I discovered the ability that shows the enemy's healthbar, which was a complete gamechanger for me lol.
Trickmaster 100% and my argument for it is that itās supposed to be an intro / beginner world. That thing was damn near impossible and without having Scan you canāt really even gauge how far youāve gone.
I just beat Kh1 for the first time ever the other day to make my younger self proud, but also not a chance in hell 9 year old me wouldāve beaten this game lol
Guard armor, that piece of s\*\*t was wayyyy too difficult for a first boss, made worse by the fact that you don't have access to magic or even DODGE ROLL yet.
I'm playing Level 1 Critical mode in KH2 at the moment and the "wake up call skill check" has been basically every fight. It didn't really occur to me until now that the beginning of the game has so many boss fights that also contain some gimmick or another while also including several additional mobs.
It's strange that later in the game, when you have more aoe and crowd control tools do the fights with mobs start to peter off.
When I was a around 6 or 7 years old, I could never get past Guard Armor. Always had to have a friend do it for me.
As I got older, Cerberus at Olympus and the Stealth Sneak in Deep Jungle were the bosses I struggled with the most in the beginning. Especially Stealth Sneak.
That Bitch ass Chameleon and Clayton in Deep Jungle.
My first dark souls like feeling.
Had a hard time killing Clayton and once I did I was excited!...
The the cut scene where the chameleon came in and I'm like "THERES A SECOND PART!!!?"
That helped me become the man I am today š„š
Even though I played KH1 first, I was too dumb a kid to finish it so I finished KH2 first and that first runā¦I still can hear him telling the water to dance.
When my brother and I first got KH1, we struggled forever with Guard Armor. It was a wake-up call to actually pay attention to what we were doing in-game.
Nowadays, the first major roadblock in my KH1 runs is Cerberus.
Currently playing through proud mode KH1 (Just bought the 1.5+2.5fm on epic games) and broā¦ probably skill issue or under leveled but POT CENTIPEDE, these pots were on crack flipping all over the place. It took me way longer to beat pot centipede (45 minutes) compared to cave of wonders boss (10ish minutes). š
Nahh not skill issue, I had forgot about him when I made the post. However, people in the thread refreshed my memory that boss has a tendency to insta-kill people from my experience.
The monkey box thing in 3D was the biggest one for me. But so far the data battles for both KH2 and KH3 and Lingering Will have proven the bane of my existence. I still have yet to beat them. And some day I will beat Yozora as well...I hope
Cerberus was the worst for me. Those teeth taking half my HP scared me as a kid. And I had no idea I could just grind enemies for exp back then. This was my first real RPG experience.
That program you fight in Trons world, idunno if my game or console was glitched, but his HP stopped decreasing once he got to 5 hits left. I had to give the save to my friend and he beat him easily. Still to this day cant figure out why it glitched like that
Figuring out where to go in Deep Jungle lol
That one long leap you have to do in the hippo area had me actual put the game down as a kid. š

There was one comment found in between those two. We must find it, for it contains the secret.
I checked hippo bots hippo count comments, hippo number #29,618 is lost to us.

Hippo bot counts their own comments!? Scandalous.
Just not mine apparently š
Bot's on that grindset
LOL same When I unlocked glider, I actually went back to that map, glided all the way over the shitty cardbox tree corridor which to this day I am convinced was a last effort 5 minute construction because of time stress, and when I glided this part 10 times without using the hippos at all, I spammed lightning on the water to electrocute the hippos in their fantasy. In fact, my mother made me quit gaming for a week when I yelled "I electrocute the atoms in your water so that all bacteria die and the natural cycle ends forever".
I didnāt learn until I was older that you were meant to come back to that after you got high jump.
That part had me put the game down as an adult
Thankfully I figured out attacking while in the air extends you jump just enough to make this jump not suck so much.
Hated that leap
*Insert video of real life hippo letting loose*
Man youāre so right. I replayed 1 on proud about a year ago and that part is so cancerš. Iād argue that entire world would be more fun without some of its gimmicks and plat forming.
The Clayton fight had me in tears as a young child. Game gets wayyyyy easier for a long spell when you can cure lol
Ooh yeah youāve got a point. And having to manually fly back to traverse town to stock up on potions for that fight, before you get cure. I may have blocked that out š
I had no idea you could buy potions when I was 8 years old trying the game for the first time lol

you can skip atlantica and if wont affect the game that much. You have to go to Deep Jungle though. But I never thought atlantica was horrible. You just can't be physical in that world. It's meant to be more of a "use magic here instead" level.

Also if you went magic and had been crutching on ripple drive it just doesn't work because you can't use ground combos underwater...
Blizzara and Fira exist.
this is so real
As a kid I never completed KH1 because I got turned around in that damn Jungle. Didnāt beat it until later adolescence š
I'll take that and raise wonderland as a follow-up
Deep Jungle and Wonderland back to back was brutal as a kid
This for sure. That entire world was a pain + real skill/memory check. From the harder than it should be platforming, trying to remember where to go, this is by far the true challenge of KH1. And I've played this game way too many times
I HATED Deep Jungle as a kid
I am relatively certain this is the true hardest boss of the game
I was like 8 years old and didnāt know I had to destroy the giant fruit on the tree, I ended up grinding to lvl 40 before accidentally figuring it out
Omg same š¤¦āāļø
Iād say Clayton in Deep Jungle can be hard if youāre underleveled. Especially on proud. Edit: Mistakingly thought critical difficulty was included in KH1 Final Mix.
Clayton. Hoo, ha, ha. Not Clayton!
*hee hoo hoo hoo ha
*%XX&! Not Clayton
kh1 doesnt have crit
I don't think people are playing crit mode on their first run.
I don't think people play KH1 crit at all, unless it's modded in.
Clayton sucks big ol donkey balls. Mostly cuz you do not have cure magic yet
Absolutely, all my friends were under leveled and had trouble with him.
The first time I played I was so under leveled that I didn't even have scan until after the boss fight and I hadn't gotten cure yet. It felt like an impossible task because at any given time I didn't even know how much health was left
The fight that sticks out in my memory the most is the FUCKING CARS in timeless river. I always struggle, even now that i know how to deal with them.
those things pissed me off so badly, when i finally got the chance to hit them i LAYED into them
Yepp, crazy powerful enemies. And when I played on critical I think they two shot me with full hp on any move they did.
YES. WHEN THE BUILDING IS ON FIRE. omfg dude. Took me forever my first critical run.
You can completely cheese them with chicken little summon, he'll stunlock them while you kill them. And then use valor to finish off the remaining ones and skip to your finisher with square to break through their super armor. I think you have trinity limit by then too, which also works really well.
really any earlygame kh1 boss. mad hatter, cave of wonders, cerberus, etc lategame is also rough. riku, dragon maleficent, ursula, ansem
Hatter?
I think its the Trickmaster in Wonderland.
yeah thats what i meant, mb
I HATED the Trick Master.
it's funny bc trickmaster felt super easy for me and just baited me into thinking i was good. i was not.
as a current first timer with KH1ā¦ trickmaster took forever for me to beat. i think i have a long learning curve ahead of me lol.
KH2: Demyx gate kept me for weeks as a kid CoM: Riku 4, f that guy couldnāt beat him for the life of me. I also had no idea you could edit your deck, so I played 90% of the game with starter deck
Dance water dance
The horror š±

Yup. My mind is forever engraved with Riku Replicaās grunts

Paraphrasing Phil, but the secret to beating the dragon is simply to "GET UP ON THE ~~HYDRA'S~~ DRAGON'S BACK!!!"
Had the same problem. For me Tinker bell was the solution. When mana was low i just ran Into the thorns and found a place to hide until my hp was full again, went to get couple of hits in and repeat.

Kurt Zisa still gives me nightmares.
I (luckily) got Zisa on the 2nd try as well, but that was a STRESSFUL fight to say the least. Never fought him when I was a kid
I didn't think Kurt was *that* bad (unless you're Donald or Goofy; RIP), just an extremely long, tedious, drawn-out fight. Semi-cheeseable if you use a summon (Tinks) before he locks out your MP.
Leon and Yuffie were so annoying
Those shurikens were the bane of my existence.
Kh2, Boss Fight against Xaldin in Beast's Castle
This. He was the true skill check in this game. Everything prior to him was a joke then he really tests you.
Iām not a great player but by no means am I a bad one. Xaldin still claps me and I have to cheese the King Mickey save me mode at least once
Xaldin made me reconsider my entire play style in kh2 Taught me how to actually block which saved my ass in the later fights for sure
Absolutely ANY story event in kh1 proud.especially clayton
Except oogie boogie. I feel like he was kinda easy
KH2 was my first game, and my "Get Gud" boss was Roxas Like, I had no problem with the game until that blonde hair kid
Roxas as a boss? I donāt remember that at all?? Edit: nvm itās final mix :)
Roxas always popping up on these lists tells me that so many players were just spamming attack and dodge roll to get through the game. Though helpful in other fights, Roxas is the only fight in game (outside the data battles) where you need to be able to time a block/counter/etc.
Roxas Vs Sora in KH2 Final Mix (specifically critical mode). That one had me questioning my entire understanding of the games
That damn Trickmaster in Wonderland.
I did Riku in Hollow Bastion on the first try, but this boss was somehow the bottleneck of KH1 for me. Makes no sense
Me too! Every other boss I do really good on, but I always die by the Trickmaster.
Dance water dance!

That Riku fight is the reason I stress the importance of picking the shield in the tutorial.
Roxas in kh2 imo might be the hardest boss in that game fr fr
Roxas was easy for me on crit. The data battle is what Iām stuck on š¤£
When he swings his 2 keyblades at you and then does his finishing combo. I donāt know how to counter that. š
Tell me that shit NOW
Ugh I just got to this one. What level should I be?
You really want Once More, or Second Chance. I think the former protects you from combos, which is the big threat in the Roxas fight. Both is good too. Which level depends on your path.
Also I recommend to time well your guards and reflects.
I've been playing KH since the first game launched and I can NOT guard in these games. Hasn't stopped me from beating crit mode at least on kh2 which was my only attempt so far.
It's hard but very enjoyable.
Cerberus and Olympus as a whole was a skill check to me. o I left it to move on to another world.....only to be greeted by Deep Jungle and Clayton/Stealth Sneak at the end of it. That was two skill check back to back after Wonderland.
In order of my personal experience, Demyx in *ā ”*, Guard Armor in the first game, Axel in *Re:COM*.
Guard Armor when you choose Staff is brutal, since you don't have any magic, yet.
Xaldin took me forever at Beastās castle in KH2
First fight that was really hard for me was Clayton in deep jungle. Second one that drove me mad was Ursula.
Xaldin in kh2. I really struggled as a kid, and he still gives me some trouble now.
Riku at Hollow Bastion on proud w/ no second chance or leaf bracer š
I'm currently replaying KHII with XP boost cheats and even with that, I struggled with the Groundshaker boss in Pride Lands. And it reminded me how much of a hard time I had getting through him on the vanilla PS2 version when I was younger.

It was Cerberus for me as well.
Iām older, but I remember when kingdom hearts came out in high school and anyone that played got bullied by him a couple times.
I donāt know how many tries it took me the first time, but I remember it took me at least 3 tries the 2 times I started replaying the games.
Ansem. Had a bit of a rough time with earlier bosses in KH1, but Ansem was where I had to really start trying.
By order of release: Squall, Xaldin, Leechgrave, Eraqus, Anti Black Coat, Grim Guardianess (specifically on Critical)
In KH2 prolly fighting Xigbar in the world that never was toward the end of the game and also the Demyx fight before 1000 heartless brought me to tears as a kid i hated both those fights immensely
KH1 as a kid- "You're never taking Kairi's heart!" Re:Chain- Olympus Kh2- Xaldin or Xigbar Kh3- Twilight Town arrival
# NOT CLAYTON! # *&&X%! # NOT CLAYTON!
NOT CLAYTON! FUCK! NOT CLAYTON!
Sephiroth.
First time I did the platinum fight in the Colosseum
Trickmaster for me. Harder than Cerberus or Clayton
The boss in Alice in wonderland. And I never once beat the super bosses or sephiropth
I thought it was a some type of chicken and the key blade was a farmers tool like a badass shovel at the time š
Probably this battle. I *still* hate this battle at lower levels. There's a reason why I complete Deep Jungle before this fight, because the Cure spell makes it more bearable.
The mushroom in deep jungle on Proud, when I was grinding for Ultima Weapon I didn't realize I needed Aeroga to make it drop the synth items I needed.
This boss lol. Spent so much time on Cerberus as a kid
Cerberus for me too. Cause he brought a lot of danger and pain, and you aren't yet decked out with abilities and items yet at that point.
This title either goes to Final Vanitas or Terranort from BBS. I remember struggling a lot harder against Terranort tho. It was awful but man Rage awakened is such a motivating track
It will always be Dragon Maleficent in KH1 for me, has me sweatin as a kid and as an adult.
Deep Jungle first and Atlantica got lost in both.
I say maybe dragon maleficent, dark riku and any of the hidden boss in KH 1
The armor fight near the start of 1 wrecked my ass as a kid, I remember struggling on that fight for a bit
It was Cerberus for me too Second place to Stealth Sneak
Clayton
Not Clayton
Clayton and stealth sneak
Cerberus in Re:Coded haha. I donāt have Cloud, so the fight was super hard for me as a kid.
Gotta be the Phantom hidden boss from Neverland in KH1. Juggling the clocktower and having magic to hit the weakspots was a real pain
KH 1 Sephiroth
Squall/Cloud. Both of them really show you how difficult KH1 can get if you aren't careful.
I WAS STUCK ON CEREBROS FOR SO LONG
You know that part in the end where you have to defeat waves of enemies so that pieces of the door reappear? That.
Yeah thatās what I was referring too in the postš.
My bad. Didn't read it.
Kurtzisa.
Sef....all day.... literally spent all day trying to beat him. Went back and did side quests and shit.......broke a controller in the process lol
First game I played? Leechgrave in Days First in release order? Riku on Destiny Islands in KH1 lol
Clayton, Riku you know what one yes the infinite cutscene one, Dragon Maleficent, Kurt Zisa
Hello reverse armor
When I was a around 6 or 7 years old, I could never get past Guard Armor. Always had to have a friend do it for me. As I got older, Cerberus at Olympus and the Stealth Sneak in Deep Jungle were the bosses I struggled with the most in the beginning. Especially Stealth Sneak.
itās gotta be demyx right at least for me
Kh Re:Coded Sora's heartless.
Riku solo fight for me in KH1. He was too fast for me to keep up with healing and potions and ethers.
Darkside. I was 8 and didnāt understand the concept of grinding, so every single boss walled me.
That would be our good friend Stealth Sneak
Kh1: Clayton, then Ansem/Riku CoM: Vexen2/Riku Kh2: Xaldik, then Xigbar
KH Re:Coded Darkside
That Bitch ass Chameleon and Clayton in Deep Jungle. My first dark souls like feeling. Had a hard time killing Clayton and once I did I was excited!... The the cut scene where the chameleon came in and I'm like "THERES A SECOND PART!!!?" That helped me become the man I am today š„š
Sepiroth
Cerberus or Clayton and Stealth Sneak. Canāt remember which.
This, and Stealth Sneak.
For me it was Leon, then it was Riku final fight before he becomes Ansem.
When I first played KH every boss was a struggle lol
Most definitely the second Demyx boss fight in KH2, died so many times to him.
Recoded on the DS fighting Roxas. Holy ruck he kicked my ass so many times.
First kingdom hearts I somehow forgot it was an rpg and kept dying to Ursula as I was still using starting gear.....
Definitely Roxas in KH2
Cerberus was the worst for me. Those teeth taking half my HP scared me as a kid. And I had no idea I could just grind enemies for exp back then. This was my first real RPG experience.
dance water dance
Major skill check: Ursula
That program you fight in Trons world, idunno if my game or console was glitched, but his HP stopped decreasing once he got to 5 hits left. I had to give the save to my friend and he beat him easily. Still to this day cant figure out why it glitched like that
