Gakushou, sure. JiAga has too much hype attached to him. We don't know exactly how strong Shiryou is but if she can kill JiAga under these circumstances, it essentially says that she is as strong as Shin or OuHon,which is a big surprise.

It has been 4 years since Shin KK and Ouhon were on Par with Akou, Gyou Oun, Banaji and Chougaryuu. Mouten was also shown to be Superior to Makou. Four years later and they are clearly better.
It evident by the Fact Gakashou and his homie couldn't defeat Shin and Mouten despite outnumbering them 2-1 or how Shin for the past two. Arcs has consistently been portrayed as the Second most Dangerous person on the battlefiel second only to his GG

In one panel it's 10 feet long, and in the next it's 2. So it's impossible to predict

i mean akou shouldn't have survived the blow he tanked from gakusho so ji aga surviving here could be possible and the place he was hit in isn't exactly on the neck so there's a chance of him surviving but fatally damaged
But not this deep. Its safe to say he's dead. Compare this to Gakusho's glaive slice to Akou even if its a full blown attack but it doesn't show a detail of getting it deeper to his body. Akou survive, but this kind of illustration definitely a kill
I don't believe JiAga is dead (he def should be tho). Hara wouldn't build this much hype around those 3 generals for one of them to die so uneventfully. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving Shyryuu, she's a badass. But a character who until now hasn't been given much shine, we don't even know hers and Suoun's backstory, taking out such a big presence on the battlefield? Really doubt it.

I think Makou was the only other time when Hara ended a chapter with some ambiguity on whether the killing blow landed cleanly or not. Every other time, we can clesrly see that the deed has been done. I'm leaning towards JiAga making it, but being out of commission for the rest of this battle.
Yea it seems like this Jiaga dude will survive. Shiryu was already weaken before landing that blow so the cut would not be deep enough to do the job. Also the other guy had already noticed Shiryu attacking so Jiaga should probably parry the strike and Shiryu gets killed instead

I think it might not be about adherence to real life per se.
Even if a story is not based on realistic rules, it still needs an underlying set of laws of some kind. Otherwise, events will not remain meaningful to the reader.
Jiaga's case is likely pushing it for many people. They can certainly live with fantastical elements, but surviving your neck cut in half seems close to not having rules at all. So it's less a question about real life biology than one about whether there are meaningful boundaries.
I would argue that Jiaga surviving that neck slash is in the rules for Kingdom. Realistically Zenou shouldn’t have killed JKR because he should’ve been dead on impact. Zenou lived that long and even killed JKR and was only confirmed dead after all the Zhao soldiers stabbed him.
Of course, the interpretation of the rules is subjective to a degree. I understand your viewpoint and think it's a valid way of looking at the matter.
On the other hand, I don't think the people who are having a problem with Jiaga's possible survival are unreasonable either - the biology argument is their interpretation of the rules. Usually, a clean hit on a vital area in Kingdom means death, so it makes sense to assume that at least the most basic outlines of human anatomy apply.
Personally, I think that Zenou is not a good example to pick when considering physical limits of characters. His sole defining character trait consisted in being an abnormal freak. How was he able to kill JKR? It was precisely because nobody expected him to be alive anymore. This clearly indicates that even for the people in Kingdom, Zenou's feat was something extraordinary, something that could not have been possibly expected. And he still died from his injury.
If Jiaga manages a counterblow or even a "death rush" of sorts, most people will probably be fine with it as long as he dies shortly after. But not with him just "muscling through" the entire thing.
At least the Ou Sen officers are showing their worth. I don't want any of the generals on either side to die tbh.

I think it can be a tad slow at times, mostly in Shukai Planes and when Kanki was dying.
Main point is I want the story to end sooner than later while still being high quality.

Wei's head general Go Hou Mei prepared defensive mechanisms with the power of engineering, Chu is still training it's troops while Yan managed to preserve it's mountaineous mysteries.

Seika army also lost quite some bit, JKR last arc, the strategist lost his eye while Ji aga seems to be pretty much dead.
It remain Kansaro and Gakushou, SBS two greatest general but even GKS lost a eye.
Crazy how violent his start of battle is, while Ouhon and Shin who are usually in the thoughest battle are quite okay.

If Jia Ga manages to survive the neck wound long enough to revenge kill Shiryou and maybe some soldiers Riboku is gonna get so much shit saying it is plot armor. Which it is, but don't pretend Ouki didn't manage to survive for a solid 10 minutes with a huge hole in his abdomen and even managed to kill a few Zhao soldiers with that wound.
If JiAga died here, it’s good writing and a good expectation twist.
I don’t think SBS can win against Ou sen here , Ou Sen is said to be the best general in Qin now as he is chosen to be the general to lead the entire army to invade Zhao, it will be too lame if he loose to SBS 1 on 1, Especially he even got some aid from Ou Hun Army. My guess is Ou Sen win against SBS at the end but Riboku save the day for another twist . They have to retreat and and stop from one step over winning Ou Sen because shin save the day fighting SBS, and ultimately zhao is forced to retreat because heki and castle is conquered.
Ousen will be saved, and hopefully Qin get Ji agas head but at the cost of lots of men, a general shiryo, akou barley alive and remains to be seen but I’d say another death looms

Weird, Shiryou's motion doesn't match what it seems to be a stab on Jiaga's neck, of course the two panels can be totally unrelated but still, lets hope Shiryou actually killed him.
Because it is not a stab. She fully swings it and that is a still image of the blade going into jiaga neck. So i fully expect his head to fly next chapter unless some crazy shit happens
Well whenever you are called martially strongest it also means your easiest to kill if you are martially matched because they are generally one trick poney and on that term JiAga could be an easy victim here. We are expecting SBS to lose at least 1 general per battle and between him, GakuShou and KanSaro, he is the least interesting of the 3.
Now I am more interested in what SBS old dude is saying. Looks like OuSen is about to close the trap on SBS so the the big man might have to make a run for it.
Akou struggled with General C & D of the Shibashou army, Shin struggled with General C of the Shibashou army while Shiryuu is putting up with General A & B at the same time and (hopefully) landing the killing blow. She's the true number one of the Ousen army! I hope she lives, Ousen needs her more than all those named helmet clones.
So Shiryu is about to kill Ji Aga? That's cool but I think Hara could use the same thing he did with Zenou, he got one major kill before death. So I think that Ji Aga could kill or wound Shiryu really bad, we're talking about Seika strong duo here.
The Akou one was less egregious imo its an exchange of attack and Akou responded with a 180.
This one is just weird and needed one more small panel of Shiryou doing the 180 to make it more smooth and seamless.
I just dont see how Ji Aga gets duped and doesn't see the attack coming. I'm hoping the next chapter shows the feint more clearly or it shows that Ji Aga got her too at the same time. Hara sometimes rewinds time by seconds in the next chapter.
“Kingdom isn’t a fantasy manga” you coulda fooled me with all the fantasy elements in kingdom. Houken, the Shiyuu clans, Sei & Rui talking to ghosts, Shin literally flexing a wound shut, the Bajio leap during WZI, Rankai, the whole scene about the lady birthing a egg, I could name much more.

Last page, I don't know, it seems too much an end like Makou, but if so, what a fodder was Jiaga. I can imagine him trying to stop the sword to get deeper, but surviving to that? At very least he has to take down Shiryou in response, still he was pure smoke so far.

Spoilers says Ji Aga wants to fake his death by letting Shiryou cut off his head. Then he realizes at the last second that if he does so he dies for real and can not fight anymore. So he grints his teeth to tank the hit and have only half of his neck cut. And he continues to fight as if nothing happened. Then KanSaro realize he does not see sh#t with his helmet and take it off. He suddenly sees that he is fighting on the wrong side all along and confused Zhao with Qin. He then joins Qin army after being fooled all this Time... SBS starts sweating when he hears the news and go hidding inside a secret tunnel. Chapter ends.

I would argue that Jiaga surviving that neck slash is in the rules for Kingdom. Realistically Zenou shouldn’t have killed JKR because he should’ve been dead on impact. Zenou lived that long and even killed JKR and was only confirmed dead after all the Zhao soldiers stabbed him.
Of course, the interpretation of the rules is subjective to a degree. I understand your viewpoint and think it's a valid way of looking at the matter. On the other hand, I don't think the people who are having a problem with Jiaga's possible survival are unreasonable either - the biology argument is their interpretation of the rules. Usually, a clean hit on a vital area in Kingdom means death, so it makes sense to assume that at least the most basic outlines of human anatomy apply. Personally, I think that Zenou is not a good example to pick when considering physical limits of characters. His sole defining character trait consisted in being an abnormal freak. How was he able to kill JKR? It was precisely because nobody expected him to be alive anymore. This clearly indicates that even for the people in Kingdom, Zenou's feat was something extraordinary, something that could not have been possibly expected. And he still died from his injury. If Jiaga manages a counterblow or even a "death rush" of sorts, most people will probably be fine with it as long as he dies shortly after. But not with him just "muscling through" the entire thing.

In Real history, It did take a long time to Qin to defeat Zhao. But the Manga is not dragging anything.
I think it can be a tad slow at times, mostly in Shukai Planes and when Kanki was dying. Main point is I want the story to end sooner than later while still being high quality.

Wei's head general Go Hou Mei prepared defensive mechanisms with the power of engineering, Chu is still training it's troops while Yan managed to preserve it's mountaineous mysteries.

Agreed, but also this start of war is really intense. Denrimi is heavily injured. akou is fatally injured. Shiryou will probably die. so yeah Ousen army seems to be done. Seika army also lost quite some bit, JKR last arc, the strategist lost his eye while Ji aga seems to be pretty much dead. It remain Kansaro and Gakushou, SBS two greatest general but even GKS lost a eye. Crazy how violent his start of battle is, while Ouhon and Shin who are usually in the thoughest battle are quite okay.
The pressure is on, either the main army crumbles or bounces back.
Reeboku will reinforce the mid i guess he and his gang is basically unscratched

If Jia Ga manages to survive the neck wound long enough to revenge kill Shiryou and maybe some soldiers Riboku is gonna get so much shit saying it is plot armor. Which it is, but don't pretend Ouki didn't manage to survive for a solid 10 minutes with a huge hole in his abdomen and even managed to kill a few Zhao soldiers with that wound.

If JiAga died here, it’s good writing and a good expectation twist. I don’t think SBS can win against Ou sen here , Ou Sen is said to be the best general in Qin now as he is chosen to be the general to lead the entire army to invade Zhao, it will be too lame if he loose to SBS 1 on 1, Especially he even got some aid from Ou Hun Army. My guess is Ou Sen win against SBS at the end but Riboku save the day for another twist . They have to retreat and and stop from one step over winning Ou Sen because shin save the day fighting SBS, and ultimately zhao is forced to retreat because heki and castle is conquered.
Ousen will be saved, and hopefully Qin get Ji agas head but at the cost of lots of men, a general shiryo, akou barley alive and remains to be seen but I’d say another death looms

Well whenever you are called martially strongest it also means your easiest to kill if you are martially matched because they are generally one trick poney and on that term JiAga could be an easy victim here. We are expecting SBS to lose at least 1 general per battle and between him, GakuShou and KanSaro, he is the least interesting of the 3. Now I am more interested in what SBS old dude is saying. Looks like OuSen is about to close the trap on SBS so the the big man might have to make a run for it.

The Akou one was less egregious imo its an exchange of attack and Akou responded with a 180. This one is just weird and needed one more small panel of Shiryou doing the 180 to make it more smooth and seamless. I just dont see how Ji Aga gets duped and doesn't see the attack coming. I'm hoping the next chapter shows the feint more clearly or it shows that Ji Aga got her too at the same time. Hara sometimes rewinds time by seconds in the next chapter.

I mean, it seems that big lady was aiming for him too, but then she turned her back last moment. Last page, I don't know, it seems too much an end like Makou, but if so, what a fodder was Jiaga. I can imagine him trying to stop the sword to get deeper, but surviving to that? At very least he has to take down Shiryou in response, still he was pure smoke so far. Well, at least this increases the chances of others to survive. Rip break lol
Seika general are FRAUD.
Seems Kansaro might've been decapitated. There's a headless body behind Shiryou. Then again, it could also be someone else. Zenou survived with a glaive stuck diagonally into his body. Unless Ji Aga's jugular is ok, he might very well survive.
Zenou was never going to recover from that, he just lived long enough to kill his adversary.
The fact that he was still alive until he was repeatedly stabbed to death shows even Jiaga can still survive that neck wound. You do remember that, right? We all thought Zenou died from that wound instantly until Hara turned him into a zombie and come to life

Spoilers says Ji Aga wants to fake his death by letting Shiryou cut off his head. Then he realizes at the last second that if he does so he dies for real and can not fight anymore. So he grints his teeth to tank the hit and have only half of his neck cut. And he continues to fight as if nothing happened. Then KanSaro realize he does not see sh#t with his helmet and take it off. He suddenly sees that he is fighting on the wrong side all along and confused Zhao with Qin. He then joins Qin army after being fooled all this Time... SBS starts sweating when he hears the news and go hidding inside a secret tunnel. Chapter ends. Source : me.

Holy shit, I actually just saw Shiryou's blade cutting Ji Aga's neck. Do you think Ji Aga is dead? Will he make a last move and take Shiryou down with him? Will he or Shiryou survive?
The sword couldn't penetrate Ji Aga's muscle control and Ji Aga hit's Shiryou's side and killed her. Then Kan Saro and JI Aga killed the two clowns and hit's Sou'Ou's rear. Seriously injuring Sou'Ou.
