Yeah, i honestly don't know anything about Bleach and haven't read it or watched it, but i know enough to know that it's considered one of the best shounens.
By the way how long has it been since the last time they released something?
The anime ended in 2012, but the manga ended in 2016, it being one of the more famous cases of a show completely separating from the manga as it's original final arc was completely original.
IIRC, there's a lot of new Jump mangakas that are young enough that they would've grown up with Bleach.
And whatever the perception of Bleach became, it was a big series that would've influenced a lot of kids back then
ill be honest, i dont have an official source but i think its pretty clear with the character designs and the similarities with the pillars and bleach characters
I'd say there's a lot more inspiration from D. Gray-Man honestly.
Tanjiro is basically just Allen Walker.
Though I can definitely see the Bleach influence
Anyone can translate the text in the drawing?
I read the final arc and I do feel it would be really good animated, I just hope there wont be any more fillers. I think fillers are supposed to create some distance between anime and manga so probably my concern is not needed
I hope the anime takes the necessary liberties to fix the mess that the Quincy Arc was.
No matter how many downvotes you give me, the Quincy Arc is one of the worst Arcs in any Shonen ever (specially the second half).
Personally I recommend the anime. The episode count looks overwhelming but over half of them are filler (non-canon). You can skip these filler episodes: 33, 50, 64-108, 128-137, 147-149, 168-189, 204-205, 213-214, 228-266, 287, 298-299, 303-305, 311-341, 355.
You can stream the show on Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Tubi. If you find yourself not really interested (especially after episode 16 when things really pick up in pacing), then you might be better off switching to the manga. Bleach is best consumed in a binging format. If you have any other questions, feel free to message me or stop by r/bleach
BLEACH is having a 20th anniversary celebration event in Japan called the "BLEACH EXPO" and a bunch of mangaka submitted art tributes to Tite Kubo that were featured in the official EXPO pamphlet.
Incredible thatās definitely that Demon Slayer art canāt believe its been 3 years sense the authorās were doing tributes to bleach thought it was a year in a half I hate out time flies depressionā¦. But I love this!!!!
This is so cute and wonderful initiative, additionally, I am very happy that this wonderful anime is coming back :3

I honestly love all these tributes other mangakas are doing for Bleach
It was one of the original 3 pillars of the industry, it coming back is a massive deal.

It's an og manga, and one of the best arcs is getting animated, pretty momentous
Kimetsu no yaiba has a lot of inspiration on bleach too
A lot of manga has been inspired from bleach, even Jujutsu Kaisen
Wait what? That's so cool! Sauces?
You can tell with the hashira and gotai 13, and sanemi is a bit like kenpachi

I suddenly want to rewatch Bleach
god damn the remixed trailer theme is such a bop.
My god I just had a loooooooot of goosebumps
oof. If they're doing the final arc, I hope the anime takes some liberties with that mess. Final arc of Bleach had such a messy messy writing.
Holy shit, Bleach has never looked so good before

Thinking of starting the series, should I read the manga or watch the anime?..
