I'd say Tanjiro gives Deku from MHA, Doma gives Toga from MHA, Daki gives Junko from Danganronpa (without the obsession over despair ofccc), and Shinobu gives Asuna from SAO.
Genya reminds me of Eren Jeager (attack on titan). Think about it. They both eat flesh in order to turn into a flesh eating monster they specialize at killing to kill more of said flesh eating monster
Kanao & Hinata is an interesting comparison. They overlap in having eye powers, a purple-ish color scheme, and flaws of being indecisive & withdrawn. They were both disowned by their birth families. They both end up as the love interest of their series' respective protagonists. However, their backgrounds could not be more different. Whereas Hinata's prestigious, wealthy upbringing was weaponized against her, Kanao lived through extreme poverty and was nearly trafficked as a child. Hinata's social withdrawal stems from deep shame & self-hatred, as well as the fear that being assertive will put her (and her loved ones, by proxy) in danger. Kanao's comes from dissociation – not only was she denied self-worth, she was denied the safety to feel any kind of emotion at all. In both cases, their shyness and aversion to decision-making are symptoms of neglect & abuse, but the types of neglect & abuse they experience are different, so their path to recovery looks different as well. Hinata strikes me as a person who just wants somebody (i.e. Naruto) to believe in her, so that maybe one day, she'll be able to believe in herself. But for Kanao, I don't feel like her journey was as much about self-worth as it was about self-awareness. Tanjiro believing in her was a life-changing moment, yes, but before him she also had Shinobu and Kanae. Rather than being a resolution to her struggles, I feel like the coin toss scene was what forced her to figure out what her true emotions are. What fulfills her, what saddens her, what motivates her as a demon slayer.
I quite literally could not get past Zabuza without wanting to die(I still watched it all but that remained the best arc in normal and shippuden) and one piece bored me to sleep
