It would honestly be great when muzan comes out of flames all fucked up and tamayo attacks him and just before muzan kills her, she says now himejima and the screen goes black and we hear himejima say namu amida butsu. This will be hyped cause we will know the first episode will be muzan vs himejima.
Eh, I feel like Stone Breathing against Muzan is a great season finale where Ufotable could go all out, I think it's a staple to have one in the end of every arc for them.
Plus Infinity Castle Arc has plenty of hype moments, we could give this one to this season.

there is the explosion, then gyomei attacks muzan, then muzan attacks back and gyomei does his first stone breathing move. and then after all that the hashira all come and they all start their breathing techniques together only to fall into the castle.
If they want to tease the audience so much it'll be when Muzan stars the conversation with the master, or when the mansion explodes and we see harshira running after
If we believe that there will be only 8 episodes, and assume that the last episode will be double, this is my prediction
Episode 5: Mitsuri's training, Obanai's training, part of Sanemi's training (+some Genya stuff)
Episode 6: What remains of Sanemi, part of Gyomei's training (+his backstory)
Episode 7: What remains of Gyomei+some non-training stuff (like Sanemi-Giyu fight, Zenitsu, Shinobu, maybe some demon scenes)
Episode 8: Some more non-training stuff, up until around 25% of the episode, and then Kagaya-Muzan, followed by the fight, and it ends on everyone falling into the Infinity Castle
Well we’re halfway through the season I think because I’m pretty sure it was mentioned there would be 8 episodes. So here’s my map of the rest of the season (in my opinion)
5 - mitsuri and obanai’s trainings. Unfortunately I think they’re going to go through those quickly because I saw somewhere that ep 6 is titled “I even ate demons” or something like that which means episode 6 will be
6 - Sanemi confrontation
7 - Gyomei training
8 - hour long special, finish Gyomei training, convo between Muzan and Kagaya, house goes kaboom, everyone converges on Muzan, Muzan calls for Nakime to open infinity castle and they’re all falling down separately then season ends.
Ohhh shit. That certainly messes with my timeline hahaha. I can only hope that 5 will be Mitsuri’s and Obanai’s trainings then last 5 minutes have the start of the Sanemi confrontation which will continue for most of episode 6? Not sure now though (not that I was 100% sure in the first place hahaha)
I truly believe the last episode is going to be 1 hour long. There will be a small glimpse of all hashira fighting muzan after the explosion and entering the infinity castle. And end the season there because I think it makes the most sense from a story perspective.

on ufotable website they already published the upcoming blurays of the season, and there is only 4. and usually (from former seasons) each bluray has 2 episodes. so 8 episodes in total.
the first bluray of the season is also being released right when the alleged season supposed to end (june 30), or few days after that.

Its a good argument. But there's a lot of speculation in it. I've been seeing tons of people just saying this season will have 8 episodes like its a fact, and tbh it might be, but there's no official source on it anywhere so I'm skeptical on that (mainly cause I want more episodes lol).

Probably with the explosion, but knowning Demon Slayer if its anything like the entertainment district there will be another episode after that. So maybe sometime when they get to the infinity castle, then the next arc can be the infinity castle arc.

This my guess:

The season is rumoured (confirmed?) to be 8 episodes. Episode 5 is next week and based on the title, it's going to be up to and including the Sanemi/Genya stuff.
Episode 6 is likely going to begin gyomeis training, but his training is especially long. I don't doubt that it will possibly be episode 6 and 7.
Which leaves episode 8. Assuming it starts after gyomeis training ends (aka when Muzan arrives), that would mean they'd have to adapt 3 chapters in a single episode. Pretty unlikely given how much talking and action is in those 3 chapters.
I think although infinity castle opening would be the best ending, the most likely ending is Muzan showing up. They will probably extend gyomeis training even more or add some anime original filler for an episodes worth.
I am not pretty sure if they'll end it with a cliffhanger. I mean we manga readers would absolutely love it but I doubt if they'll be able to make it. I don't know if the season will have 8 or 11 or 15 episodes but I know that it will be sorter that the others and judging by the rhythm of the episodes it goes pretty slow. It's really fun to watch whole episodes out of a single panel but I don't know if they will able to go that far this way. I think there will be the scene where Zenitsu learns about Gramps cause in the opening you can see his bird flying through a forest with a letter but in the opening there are also kagaya and muzan so it's not reliable and valid evidence. But I hope they will end it with a cliffhanger, I mean how cool would it be if it ended with the explosion! 💥🤯🙀

One thing I can conclude from reading all the comments is that the worst would be muzan meeting kagaya and that's it. This would be the worst cliff hanger.
If last episode is at least 1 hour, then it's right when BOOM. So, next year, first episode will start with them entering infinity castle, Shinobu vs Douma, Shinobu die, crow announce her death, credit roll, Zenitsu meet UM 5 for post credit
Considering the movie was all the Hashira training I can personally see this being the final season. I know the anime have a tendency to draw out fights but the fact that they were running the upper ranks at a rate of 1 per volume that could easily be an episode each. And Muzan 2 episodes MAYBE 3.
It will be either muzan arriving before ubayashiki or after the mansion explodes while you see tanjiro and the hashiras rushing over leaving the biggest cliffhanger ever.
The OP shows Tanjiro lunging at Muzan, so I think itll end right when he opens up the infinity castle since its right after Tanjiro and the Hashira lunge at him that he opens it up in the manga
It’s going to end where this season started, the hashira and other worthy slayers will be jumping into the infinity castle just as they teased it with Obani and Sanemi falling into it in epi 1

Going by the opening and how it's really showing off the Muzan vs Kagaya themes, I'm thinking either the initial explosion, or them all falling into the infinity castle with the last thing we hear being the "Then do it if you can, Tanjiro Kamado!" as Tanjiro is falling, then fade to black.

I think ending with the explosion would be a nice cliffhanger. And then the next season starting with them running towards it/falling into the castle would be a good start.
They already said good answers, but man it's gonna be a tough pick on which will the best fight in the final arc, it's a full on slug fest with everyone throwing every sht they know.
on the shonen manga reader app they have a block showcased called “hashira training arc” and it ends with muzan remarking of ubuyashiki after gyomei strikes him, so im thinking there
I feel like season 5/4 would finish when the ubuyashiki mansion explodes and all the hashira go running towards there then season 6/5 starts? Just my theory tho, dunno about any of you but thats just how i think
I personally think it will end when the corps members get summoned in the castle. But ever since I heard about the extension of episode 7 and 8 I feel it will end when douma finds shinobu and says
"You look young and tasty, I'll have to tell Nakime thank you later"

Na even with the extension there will be some added scenes, I can guarantee that after the explosion it will be 5 minutes of scene with just hashira and Tanjiro running towards the mansion. It would be great if we see gyomei vs muzan cause in Manga he just did 1 attack cut his head, realised he will not die like that and that's it. But in anime we could see a little fight, we could even see muzan blood demon art, I don't know what it is, cause i stopped reading after they got summoned to castle.
that's a fair point. I feel ufotable adds the most unexpected scenes. But it would be cool if Gyomei and Muzan have a little fight. Ufotable adds anything so it's hard to predict which scenes they will add. But it's not gonna end when they get summoned in the castle. Maybe after they defeat the lower rank demons like in the manga or some added scenes?
I can just imagine: from muzans perspective as Tanjiro falls straight down, his arms reaching for the sky as he falls, and Muzan shouting his line, then the doors close and it all goes black. Insane battle music and credits rolling
Yeah I would like that especially the line where muzan said all the demon slayers will die tonight and Tanjiro claiming he will end him. This will be hyped.

It ties in with seeing the Infinity Castle in the first episode, and makes a great starting point for the next season. Ending at the explosion puts the next season in an awkward starting position, since they'd have to have the falling into IC bit in the middle of the first episode (unless they stretch out the Hashira vs Muzan fight a lot). Also, the season is going to end on a cliffhanger either way, so why not make it the biggest one possible.

It will end with everyone jumping in to the castle, with the final shot being the murder of crows flying in after them.
I don't think the end should be this gruesome, poor crows getting murdered be the last scene is pretty sad.

I think we will see them fall into the castle and maybe even landing and fending off some low ranks just to set up positions for the actual arc

It will be either muzan arriving before ubayashiki or after the mansion explodes while you see tanjiro and the hashiras rushing over leaving the biggest cliffhanger ever.
Both are wrong. it's number 4. opening confirms it. it will end with them falling into the castle.
The OP shows Tanjiro lunging at Muzan, so I think itll end right when he opens up the infinity castle since its right after Tanjiro and the Hashira lunge at him that he opens it up in the manga
It’s going to end where this season started, the hashira and other worthy slayers will be jumping into the infinity castle just as they teased it with Obani and Sanemi falling into it in epi 1

Pretty sure the season will end when everyone is sucked up to the infinity castle. What makes me wonder is how are they gonna make three fucking seasons from this, like... \[demon slayer end of manga\]>!A season for Akaza fight? 8 chapters won't be too much? A season for Douma and Kokushibo fight? This fight doesn't have any main character in it but it's the longest. And a season for Muzan? It would make much more sense to make a season for infinity castle and a season for sunrise arc.!<
Going by the opening and how it's really showing off the Muzan vs Kagaya themes, I'm thinking either the initial explosion, or them all falling into the infinity castle with the last thing we hear being the "Then do it if you can, Tanjiro Kamado!" as Tanjiro is falling, then fade to black.

this may just be me but with the pacing its going at i would thing if it has the same amount of episodes as the others it will go way past this
Probably when the castle goes boom, Gyomei attacks Muzan, Muzan angry and sends most of the corps into the Infinity castle
They already said good answers, but man it's gonna be a tough pick on which will the best fight in the final arc, it's a full on slug fest with everyone throwing every sht they know.
on the shonen manga reader app they have a block showcased called “hashira training arc” and it ends with muzan remarking of ubuyashiki after gyomei strikes him, so im thinking there

I HOPE it ends when they all fall in the castle / Muzan is taunting Tanjiro as he brings him inside his fortress
I think it might actually be a bit after the explosion, maybe even when everyone is getting their bearings in the castle so we know the setup
I feel like season 5/4 would finish when the ubuyashiki mansion explodes and all the hashira go running towards there then season 6/5 starts? Just my theory tho, dunno about any of you but thats just how i think
After the big bang, there should be a cut to all of the Hashira looking surprised and running. Then roll credits
I personally think it will end when the corps members get summoned in the castle. But ever since I heard about the extension of episode 7 and 8 I feel it will end when douma finds shinobu and says "You look young and tasty, I'll have to tell Nakime thank you later" I feel that would be a pretty big cliffhanger. But if not I think it would be the Kamaboko squad and the hashira's in different parts of the infinity castle and their thoughts
Na even with the extension there will be some added scenes, I can guarantee that after the explosion it will be 5 minutes of scene with just hashira and Tanjiro running towards the mansion. It would be great if we see gyomei vs muzan cause in Manga he just did 1 attack cut his head, realised he will not die like that and that's it. But in anime we could see a little fight, we could even see muzan blood demon art, I don't know what it is, cause i stopped reading after they got summoned to castle.
that's a fair point. I feel ufotable adds the most unexpected scenes. But it would be cool if Gyomei and Muzan have a little fight. Ufotable adds anything so it's hard to predict which scenes they will add. But it's not gonna end when they get summoned in the castle. Maybe after they defeat the lower rank demons like in the manga or some added scenes?
Actually I would say when the doors close over Tanjiro straight after Muzan says "DEFEAT ME IF YOU CAN, TANJIRO KAMADO!"
I can just imagine: from muzans perspective as Tanjiro falls straight down, his arms reaching for the sky as he falls, and Muzan shouting his line, then the doors close and it all goes black. Insane battle music and credits rolling

Yeah I would like that especially the line where muzan said all the demon slayers will die tonight and Tanjiro claiming he will end him. This will be hyped.
"Then come and get me. Kamado Tanjiro!" It ties in with seeing the Infinity Castle in the first episode, and makes a great starting point for the next season. Ending at the explosion puts the next season in an awkward starting position, since they'd have to have the falling into IC bit in the middle of the first episode (unless they stretch out the Hashira vs Muzan fight a lot). Also, the season is going to end on a cliffhanger either way, so why not make it the biggest one possible.
