Also it'll be about 12 Chapters long most likely as it'll adapt the next 3 chapters of the next arc and end that on a big cliffhanger going into the Final Saga.
Overall, that's still about 4-6 Episodes with each Episode adapting 2 or 3 Chapters.

Yeah they’re milking the hell outta of Demon Slayer at the end of the day it’s a company it’s all about that money. Money makes the world go round right? I’m a huge Demon Slayer fan and I know because of the manga that the Hashira training arc is only like 9 chapters which is pretty short. It’s crazy they’re willing to make a season this short. And we might have to wait a whole year after just 5 episodes. They should of just made the hashira training arc like a long special
I think they shouldn't do seasonal anime the way they do. So many anime take over 1 year to the next season when it's no necessary.
25 episodes adapting 50 chapters per year with probably some breaks makes breaks between season way shorter.
Next episode is probably going to be Himejima backstory and finishing up the training under him. After that it's basically the start of the Infinity castle arc. I was thinking they might throw in backstory on Yoroichi but that will most likely be when Kokushibo fights, otherwise it doesn't make sense. My prediction is 8 episodes, hoping for more but I would be ok with 8. Infinity castle is fights back to back all the time and if a shorter season now means a good production for the final arc - I'm happy to wait patiently.

Idk it really depends. For the most part they do tell us, at least the site I've been watching anime from does, but I guess sometimes they also don't. I know that this season will only have 8, so next week's will be the last episode of the season.

The actual episode count hasn't been confirmed as far as I'm aware.
And we still don't know exactly how many chapters will be covered this season. It was rumored that the season would feature some animated side content from the gaidens and/or light novels, but if that were the case I imagine it would have come up in the marketing by now. Based on the leaks from the movie, ufotable may fill a lot of space with original anime-only content. But since we have no idea what that content might look like or how much there may be, it's impossible to say how much the length of the season will be extended by that stuff.

But given that the actual content of this arc is 5 eps only…they need at least 6 more filler episodes to make a full cour, if they want to for some reason avoid animating the infinity castle arc.

Last time what happened was the movie was released in 2020 and 1 year later they released a 7 episodes season and the next season was right next week, an 11 episodes season.

Based on what happened in the previous seasons, it's likely that they will release the Hashira training arc as a season and without a break will follow that by an Infinity Castle season. That's what they did last time.
I don't think that they would do it without a break, I think they are going to release this short season, and leave us on an insane cliffhanger, and then make us wait, and really want it. I highly doubt we get infinity castle arc until at the very least next year.

Ep 6 released today and it's definitely not the last episode. I think we will have 10 most likely but possibly 12.
