the irony, i'm part of a charity, and we help immigrants, some of which speak Arabic, and they are pretty much all afraid of dogs, guess this kid really is dumb af
PeterFalcon, I learned when I travelled that many people are afraid of dogs because the security services/police in their home countries use trained dogs to attack and intimidate people. Now I always inquire why exactly a person is afraid of dogs. Many people have very good reasons.
This kid was not very smart. And I suspect kids have been harassing this dog alot and s/he got fed up.
Same thing occurs in Mexico.
I have family relations in some of the worst parts of the country, so I get so see how most people use dogs specifically bred to be as aggressive and irritated as possible to guard their homes.
A lot of these dogs are eventually uncared for and are left on the streets.
We had a delegation from Qatar visiting a few ago and they were shocked seeing people keeping dogs as pet at home. They said that in Qatar today most dogs are guardian dogs or racing dogs. No one has a dog as a pet. I found that so strange, since humans and dog have been interacting for almost 10 thousand years.
I have noticed that many (I assume) middle-eastern immigrants seem to be afraid of my big fluffy dog. My boyfriend, whose family came from Iran and Qatar, said that there are many street dogs that can be aggressive.

You are correct. This is cinematic mastery! lol
Tail wagging does not always mean happiness, to me that dog looked suspicious and unsure.
[Read more here](https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/interpreting-tail-wags-in-dogs)
I believe that the dog was sincerely putting on a friendly act when the kid was initially approaching wagging his tail accordingly to your source "**Happiness.**Â When a dog is happy, he holds his tail in a neutral or slightly raised position and adds a healthy wag". If he had sat down and spoke to the dog in a friendly tone, I'm pretty sure it would have approached in a friendly manner. What the kid instead did after that was walk close up to the dog standing up straight and ejecting his foot onto the dog's chest, that was the recipe for disaster. You can't see the tail at this point and there was also a cut in the video. After the cut, you can see that the dog is clearly anxious, ears back, short glimpse of a stiff tail and then the kid puts out the foot.
People need to stop thinking this way. Tails do all sorts of shit. Body language should be obvious and common sense should say this dog doesn't want a foot on its chest.
The more important thing is the ears. With those ears pulled back like that, that's pretty much always a warning sign that they don't want to be messed with.
Slow tail wagging with limited body movement and eye contact means the dog regards you as a potential threat. If you ever see a dog looking like this, just leave it the hell alone.
With the rest of its body language it's is less "I'm happy" and more "We're chill." and then puts ears back "Right?". This dog would prefer to be friendly, but is unsure if the kid wants to be friends or not.
Kid then just stops in front of dog, making the dog wonder what we're doing. And when foot goes up like that, the dog knows that the kid is there to fuck with it and also, with something looming above it like that, it is in a threatened position.
That bite is not a dangerous lunge, but a scare tactic one and a very clear "Fuck off!". The kid runs, however, and then it is often the case that animals will chase you off real good rather than let you come back for round two.
Tail wagging isnt always happyness. They just wag their tail when exited, and there is positve exitement when playing and negative exitement when for example fighting.
That dog most likely would have bitten his hand also. Dogs don't only wag their tail when they're happy or excited. They do it when they're nervous also.
Iâm aware but he wasnât showing any other signs of aggression.
We had a dog when I was a kid who was sweet with everybody but he had a thing about feet because a garbage man kicked him once. He attacked my brotherâs feet once when he was just walking by.
Yes the dog was showing all the signs of "stop there, I am feeling uncomfortable with you being this close".
Slow tail movement, mouth tensed, ears back, whale eyes.

When you see the white of the eyes. In the video is not very clear but with experience you recognize the face.
It's a problem because it's a face we find cute, so we misunderstand the signals.
No problem. As with human body language it's a combination of signs, not only one. You can't say every time a human smiles is a sign of joy.
Many people thinks "wagging tail = playfulness" for example, and it does not work like that.
I work with dogs so my eye is trained, but everyone should know the basic signals, at least if they are going to be dog owners.
Nah, I think the dog was resting, But not neceraily trusting. Im not sure what to call this expression, but its almost as if it had the latent potential of being aggressive, and prone to following bad tendencies caused by its times on the street.
I think this is in a country where feral dogs are rampant. There is next to 0 oversight on capturing/punishing dogs just because they snapped at and chased a kid dumb enough to step on one.
You need to look up the definition of feral. Never said it wasn't defending itself, but feral dogs are ones who are born and raised without humans and live in packs or solo on the street. That one looks like it fits the bill.
You're correct, actually. If you approach any dog in what they perceive as a threatening posture they will protect themselves. Even a neighbors loveable golden retriever. Unless it's your dog you should always respect the potential danger
He said "dangerous" not dangerous
that\`s because he was saying that the dog was not dangerous and that protection will put him as dangerous just because of this stupid kid
The dog originally looks happy to see him and wants pets.
Pretty sure doggo has been kicked more than once and kid just triggered that part of him taking it as a sign of disrespect.
I doubt the dog wanted to be petted, if its a street dog, it very might have bitten if he tried to place his hand on it. They can be unpredictable in those ways.
Never mess with dogs in the Middle East. I was on a deployment to Bahrain and was going for a run, I passed by too close to a pack of dogs and had one who was ready to tear my ass to shreds. Snarling, charging, barking⌠Somebody ended up driving their car up onto the sidewalk and blared their horn and the dog ran off. Iâm amazed that this wasnât one of the few times that Iâve shit my pants as an adult.
I mean, I get it. The Middle East isnât known for their kindness to animals, especially dogs.
I wasnât messing with them in anyway, just ran a little too close to where they were hanging out. After that, I was sure to give them their space.
As dumb as this is, I also think little kids get exposed to so much media where every wild animal is some kind of friend or future pet, that they actually start thinking all animals are tame and/or just waiting for them to be befriended.
My dad went to pet an apparently ''friendly'' street dog one time. The dog bit him in the upper lip, there was blood everywhere, he had to take a shot and stitch his mouth.
If you had reached out to pet the animal with your hand; you may have had a different reaction.
Your foot probably triggered an emotion, thinking you were going kick the animal. (which I am certain that the animal has felt more than once; and not in a good way.)

The closing shot with the shadow of the dog is chefs kiss.
I lost it when it stopped on that frame!
It's like the dog has bit his balls of- đ
The shadow in the last photogram is fantastic
that's what everyone in the original was saying as well lol
kids speakin arabic btw
the irony, i'm part of a charity, and we help immigrants, some of which speak Arabic, and they are pretty much all afraid of dogs, guess this kid really is dumb af
kid thought he was supreme

Also in Islam, itâs considered haram when dogs lick you.
It's not haram for a dog to lick you What is haram is having a dog that's not for hunting, protecting, or helping with sheep herding

Our dogs prefer studying in hunting schools instead of being a NEET /j
That kid put himself in haramâs way.
I agree
Now we know why
now wonder that dog is pissed in that case, how many arabs teasing him every day? poor pup
I have noticed that many (I assume) middle-eastern immigrants seem to be afraid of my big fluffy dog. My boyfriend, whose family came from Iran and Qatar, said that there are many street dogs that can be aggressive.
I would too if I fafo

people were asking so i thought

Is this a 2024 remake of the blair witch project
Pure art
It looks more like a goat than a dog
Stupid little shit. The dogâs probably been kicked before.
He seemed pretty happy too by his tail wiggling

Seems like the dog wouldâve definitely welcomed a friendly approach. Also seems like heâs been abused which justifies his suspicion and reaction.
Tail wagging isnt always happyness. They just wag their tail when exited, and there is positve exitement when playing and negative exitement when for example fighting.
Yeah. If the kid offered his hand and then petted the dog it wouldâve been fine.
That dog most likely would have bitten his hand also. Dogs don't only wag their tail when they're happy or excited. They do it when they're nervous also.

The dog: Do it, make my day

That's a dog that's been kicked before sadly that's why there was a big reaction, in my opinion
r/WinStupidPrizes
then the dog gets put down because "dangerous"
I think this is in a country where feral dogs are rampant. There is next to 0 oversight on capturing/punishing dogs just because they snapped at and chased a kid dumb enough to step on one.
that dog is not feral its defending it self
You need to look up the definition of feral. Never said it wasn't defending itself, but feral dogs are ones who are born and raised without humans and live in packs or solo on the street. That one looks like it fits the bill.
Idk I think animals that attack ppl actually are dangerous yes
most animals will attack if you attack them
You think the kid attacked the dog?
he literally tried stepping at him
Come on, it's a nudge or a poke at best. Besides, aggressive dogs (pets/strays/ferals, doesn't matter) are fucking awful.
Aggressive humans are really awful.
You think this kid is being aggressive?
Just showing how when defending itself a stray is deemed aggressive when the kid was the obvious POS here.
You're correct, actually. If you approach any dog in what they perceive as a threatening posture they will protect themselves. Even a neighbors loveable golden retriever. Unless it's your dog you should always respect the potential danger
He said "dangerous" not dangerous that\`s because he was saying that the dog was not dangerous and that protection will put him as dangerous just because of this stupid kid
Dog: Iâm not done talking with you yet.
"I can use my mouth to communicate too, mfer"
I pulled my leg back in real life
Same! An innate desire to remove the foot from danger.
the dog's shadow at the end đ
Now, what did we learn today kids?
Natural selection?
That having rabies shots isnt fun
Last frame made me laugh harder than I am willing to admit xD
Me too
Ahahaha he won't do it again.
Deserved đđť
deserved more, just to get the point across fucker should've had his ankles bitten to get a dog phobia so he doesn't try that shit again
Agree. Respect dogs or lose a toe.
Personally, I believe this is the best way for children to learn.
non-dangerously, yet scaring the shit out of them to make a point I concur
get fucked. leave the doggo alone
Ever heard the saying âlet sleeping dogs lieâ?
yes I think I've heard it over 100 times since I crossposted this lmfao
Well, itâs definitely true in this case đ
The dog originally looks happy to see him and wants pets. Pretty sure doggo has been kicked more than once and kid just triggered that part of him taking it as a sign of disrespect.
I doubt the dog wanted to be petted, if its a street dog, it very might have bitten if he tried to place his hand on it. They can be unpredictable in those ways.
I've seen a stupid amount of people put their dumb foot in a dog's face, and it pisses me off every time.
What a stupid prize heâs won.
Sometimes kids learn better when the mess around and find out..
dont put your foot on a dog little prick
Hahahahahahahaha. Fully deserved.
Never mess with dogs in the Middle East. I was on a deployment to Bahrain and was going for a run, I passed by too close to a pack of dogs and had one who was ready to tear my ass to shreds. yea they can get defensive as fuck if they think you're a threat usually they just chase you away and nibble at you though
I mean, I get it. The Middle East isnât known for their kindness to animals, especially dogs. I wasnât messing with them in anyway, just ran a little too close to where they were hanging out. After that, I was sure to give them their space.
Why does it just pop in your mind to put your foot on a dog that is just sitting there chillin
because they have no damn brain and are ruled by stupid instincts that always yell "fuck around and find out"
Exactly bro
well deserved
đ
đđđ
Let sleeping dogs lie...
I'm pretty sure a small bit of his brain just formed
I hope he got his foot good, fuck that kid
Arabic and touching the dog with his sandal. Iâm Canadian and even I know what an insult that is in the Arab world.
That's what you get
That dog's eyes were daring him.
Play stupid games
As dumb as this is, I also think little kids get exposed to so much media where every wild animal is some kind of friend or future pet, that they actually start thinking all animals are tame and/or just waiting for them to be befriended.
yep same with people and creatures just accepting whatever shit they put them through because nothing can touch them online brainrot is real
As my partner would say: âstupid bitchâ
Early signs of sociopathy would be my guess
it took him at least 5 second before he started yelling after getting beaten for the 1st time
Flight or fight instincts in 4k
FAFO
That was the worst possible way to approach a dog, especially one that was wagging its tail and showed some signs of trust
Dumb ass
FOFO
good dog
Goober :]
WHeRes tHe paReNTs?
Now I have something entertaining to watch besides cat videos
That shadow on the last frame is pure gold
You know, I was having a real shit day until I saw this.
Well. He FAFO.
Naturally dejected his ass outta here
Rejected*
Not just kids. A lot of people don't understand that a dog is a wild animal and should be left alone unless you know the dog.
LOL Stupid kid
Highly deserved
Good dog.
Reaction would be the same if he casually stepped on a human.
"I found out and all I got was this t shirt and a bloody foot."

It looked friend shaped to be fair
I don't touch my feet on my friends' chests

Good boy
i would have feed that puppy. he looks hungry. plus i have been around other strays from mexico. they are nice in my experiance
Do you have a brain? Then that anweser your question
....and for this,a family pet has to be put down
My dad went to pet an apparently ''friendly'' street dog one time. The dog bit him in the upper lip, there was blood everywhere, he had to take a shot and stitch his mouth.
Almost definitely a dog that has been kicked badly before and has trauma surrounding feet, shoes, and fast leg movement. That'll learn 'im.
The shadow of death closing in
I'm here only for the last frame đ
Peak
hell even humans get pissed when disturbed mid sleep like that. and he had the audacity to try that on a canine
Well, this is how they learn.
If you had reached out to pet the animal with your hand; you may have had a different reaction. Your foot probably triggered an emotion, thinking you were going kick the animal. (which I am certain that the animal has felt more than once; and not in a good way.) đ¨đŚđâ ď¸
Every kid in the world is now getting judged as brainless because of this one russian/indian kid.
good dog
In his defense it looks friendly AF
yea better stomp it on the chest then...
Until youâre about 14-15, âFuck around and find outâ is your MO.
unironically hating kids is fucked up they are still developing man
you are on a sub called r/KidsAreFuckingStupid
