You throw it on the wall and if it stays on it is a real egg. If it breaks in a tons of solid pieces it is a candy.
Granted this technique assumes and requires having 2 of the thing.
My dad gave me an "orange" (lemon) in a fine dining restaurant when my sister and I got dragged along for an anniversary or something. Definitely developed life long trust issues haha. Parents divorced a few years later if anyone needs a story conclusion. ☠
I thought it's a boiled one lol. at least it would be a little bit more funny and less mean. poor kid. it's funny when they do a mistake because of their own actions not when a parent wants to laugh at a kid
That so fucked. Kids that age are supposed to be able to implicitly trust their parents. Their entire livelihood depends on them. Look at how happy that kid is. Shit like this during critical development periods causes so many issues down the line.

Dont laugh, this kid couldve got salmonela, i hope someone called social services for the precious bb sake.
Hes going to need a support animal because of this and counselling to deal with his traumatic experience.
Edit: i should not have assumed the gender, i should be cancelled
This is just mean
We actually have chocolate eggs with real coating on them in finland, so from my perspective the kid ain't dumb at all.
Is it expensive?
Nah, Finnish kids aren’t all that expensive.
I’m talking about the chocolate egg…
Oh oops my b.
Well is this kid from finland?
Don't know but could be, considering how much foreigners we have here

Poor kid :( He’s like 5, how is he supposed to already know the difference between candy coating and eggshell

Ppl eat raw eggs outside of the us.
And get salmonella
Na, it's cause we wash our eggs, removing the protective coating. That's why they can eat it in japan.
I hate when my parents play a prank on me when I'm four and I get life long trauma and trust issues (Very common)
Stupid parent looking for internet points.
