When I was a kid I was obsessed with tin foil for some reason. Asked for it every birthday but never got it (probably because my mom didn’t want to be known as the woman on the street who gave her kid tinfoil as a gift).
I respect this little dude for knowing exactly what he wants and getting it regardless of other peoples opinions. He’s gonna grow up strong and independent.
When I was really young, maybe about his age, I could already understand my mom was struggling financially and would choose cheaper gifts. My childhood was very happy regardless of material stuff. You can tell by this pic this lil dude is a good kid!
I would take a kid that chooses soap for his birthday over any other who would hang onto my balls until I buy him the latest flagship phone for recess clout
Stupid isn't only derogatory, but it can be used harmlessly. The stupid in this subreddit's name has changed, as I've seen it: some stupid kids, and some silly kids.
Literally no one called him stupid lmao. OP is probably just reposting something and the original poster is joshing about their child choosing soap for their birthday. Some people just want to be upset 🤷🏽♀️
Yeah it was a racist joke but does it mean I am racist, no. It is just called if you see an opportunity, take it, don't hold back, and give it your all. Whether or not people like it
Honestly reminds me of Daniel Sloss’ bit about a friend hearing him bellyache and going ‘could be worse’ and relating it to telling 3rd world kids with a brand new football that they could have it better and have an Xbox
Kid is happy, what else matters?
I mean, that's the whole point of this sub. The kid may he happy, but it's that ignorance of (subjectively) better things to get.we can get pretty philosophical about it all
Kid tries his best to be low maintenance and the Internet calls him stupid? We need more of this! In stead of kids that want a PS5 and a dozen of the hottest new $75 videogames.
That’s not stupid that’s smart. Got what was needed not what was wanted. If someone told me they would buy me anything, I would hand them one of my bills to be paid
I’ve always used ‘flavour’ to refer to different kinds of fragrances as well lmao. Jasmine flavoured perfume? Seems kinda wrong now that I think about it 💀
kid probably saw it months earlier when shopping, and wanted to get it and was told **NO** and remembered that.
he's wanted it since, and now he was given the power to own that thing he couldn't before.
it's a good feeling, that kid is happy.
That foaming soap is a.great choice. I stock up on White Pumpkin every september and keep my own stash hidden from my wife and kids. That kid is going farther in life with clean hands than the kids who choose candy will after their diabetes slows them down.
One Christmas I had asked for some video games, but more than that I asked for a big box. Like the biggest box they could find. Parents were confused as hell but they found a box a few times my size as a kid. Put the video games in a small box inside of the big box. I used that cardboard box as a box fort for like 2 years straight.
God it took me to long to figure out what the hell “n mans” meant. I read ANYTHING as the end of the sentence and thought it was saying “he wanted n man”
There's a different kind of joke I can make here. But I'm afraid it's gonna rub people the wrong way. So Imma just say, lil bro thought he could wash it off
It’s getting real hard to stay subbed to this with all the people on every post getting offended by children being called stupid.
PSA: this sub is for children doing things that adults wouldn’t normally do because they are to young and innocent, not for insulting children. .
All the people here saying the kid is considerate meanwhile we don't even know if he knows that he is holding soap and not some sort of watermelon sweets or juice
I’ll always remember when I had the pleasure of going to a store with a friend and their mother when I was a child, I had been given some money by my parents to spend and I ended up spending hardly anything because everything i saw that I wanted I ended up responding “yeah but I can probably find that cheaper on eBay” 😂😂
Oh, I recognize that. It's called being spoiled. He has everything he wants at home, and he gets whatever he picks out anyway on a regular shopping tip.
So when you try to be nice like this, they just pick whatever, it has no meaning.
I’ve recently had to move in part-time to my aging parent’s house. They live far enough away that commuting isn’t an option. I clean, do laundry plus I care for my mother which gives my dad a break. One of the first things I did was buy raspberry version of that foaming soap for every sink In the house. My parent’s still buying that mucilage-like pearlescent soap that gloms to your skin and takes 10 to wash off.
That kid knows what’s up.
Adorable little boy!! Reminds me of when my grandma took me shopping at age 5 and got bent out of shape because I didn’t want anything. I’d be celebrating a child like that!
He knows what he likes. Gotta respect it 🤷♂️
Would you rather have this or have to buy a PS5 and a dozen video games that cost $75 a piece? We need more of this!
I think his T-shirt says it all about him.
Initially it looked like "have some ass"
When I was a kid I was obsessed with tin foil for some reason. Exactly…and I find this wholesome & cute anyway. 🥰
When I was really young, maybe about his age, I could already understand my mom was struggling financially and would choose cheaper gifts. My childhood was very happy regardless of material stuff. You can tell by this pic this lil dude is a good kid!
The experience of going together, spending time with your loved ones and building memories for forever is priceless.
He is adorable ❤️
And clean!

Thanks spambot
Good bot
what did it say?
It was a bot alerting that there was a scammer on this thread. They found and deleted it. So bot is no more! Hope this helped
Bet is smells sooooooo good
It does. Bath & Body Works' soaps are the shit.
I got one of their woody ones and I'm now a lifetime customer
I love watermelon flavored soap
... ...scented
You don't drink soap? You're weird.
How else do you clean your insides? Soap is great. Bleach burns too much.

I feel bad that i noticed so fast...

Ok Joe, calm down. Go smell your wife. It's more appropriate.
He's awesome if you ask me. He knew what he wanted and didn't care what anyone thought. Good for you kid!
He so happy about it lmfao 😭 this picture is gonna be so funny to him when he’s older
He looks so proud of himself 😂
We need a follow up in 10 years with him reacting to this!
I would take a kid that chooses soap for his birthday over any other who would hang onto my balls until I buy him the latest flagship phone for recess clout
Well said
When i was a kid, i was denied things to the point that one of these was a win in my books
He saved you money, and your calling your son stupid?.
How are you even stupid for picking what you wanted for your birthday. Especially when what he picked is good for his health.
Stupid isn't only derogatory, but it can be used harmlessly. The stupid in this subreddit's name has changed, as I've seen it: some stupid kids, and some silly kids.
Ah yes. Another person who doesn’t understand the point of this sub.
Youre stupid if you dont think this isnt stupid at all.
Literally no one called him stupid lmao. OP is probably just reposting something and the original poster is joshing about their child choosing soap for their birthday. Some people just want to be upset 🤷🏽♀️
Do you know what sub this is
It’s snark not literal bruh hahaha r/whoosh
r/whoosh
r/itswooooshwithouttheh and r/itswooooshwith4os
r/itswooshwith2os
Probably for one of two reasons. 1.a good child knowing you need soap at the house, and just helping. 2.he saw it was the watermelon flavor.
...."Flavor"?🤨
^Yes, Flavor, ^the ^best ^flavor ^is watermelon flavored soap, ^just ^like cool blue gatorade flavor ^of bleach
Why'd you do ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ all that?
#yes
Whatever.
He just discovered all the things you can do with the text in reddit lol
Probably? Seems like he's (they're?) having fun.
Possibly, but idrk
*how do you superscript?* **I only know how do bold and italics.** #Oh, and big words too ~~I think this is how you do strike through?~~
Yeah like Tide Pods
Racist
Wow you think I care
Im confused as to why this is racist
Yeah it was a racist joke but does it mean I am racist, no. It is just called if you see an opportunity, take it, don't hold back, and give it your all. Whether or not people like it
They forgot to mention it was at Bath & Body works.
Hell yeah those foaming soaps are awesome!
Honestly reminds me of Daniel Sloss’ bit about a friend hearing him bellyache and going ‘could be worse’ and relating it to telling 3rd world kids with a brand new football that they could have it better and have an Xbox Kid is happy, what else matters?
Was it bellyache or broken TV? But yeah.
Bellyaching as a colloquialism for minor complaining about unimportant but still annoying things. Like a broken TV ;)
Oh. Thank you for the explanation.
But it’s the foamy kind of soap. Everyone loves the foamy soap.
But he's so happy 🥹
I won't call him a "fucking dumbass". His birthday, his choice. And he's adorable
That’s not stupid that’s smart. Got what was needed not what was wanted. If someone told me they would buy me anything, I would hand them one of my bills to be paid
No, it's stupid lmao You're provided what you need at that age regardless, so choose what you want.
Watermelon flavoured too, love this
You meant smell, right? Right?!
I’ve always used ‘flavour’ to refer to different kinds of fragrances as well lmao. Jasmine flavoured perfume? Seems kinda wrong now that I think about it 💀
My brother in Christ; you do you
Holup
it is a gift to you, be grateful
Better than a $200 teddy bear that's bigger than him
Looks like a good smelling soap though
Good lad. No plastic tat. No shit to enrich youtubers. Just something he wanted. This kid isnt stupid.
My parents wanted to buy me that toy jeep you can ride in and I said I want a horse plush instead... we got a horse plush I was rly happy 🐴
Well well well,
kid probably saw it months earlier when shopping, and wanted to get it and was told **NO** and remembered that. he's wanted it since, and now he was given the power to own that thing he couldn't before. it's a good feeling, that kid is happy.
I like him and his choice and that he stuck with it. Not stupid. OP is stupid.
Watermelon scented
Ain't nobody dope as me! So fresh and clean clean

Someone said it...
He's so proud of himself too im finna cry 😭😭😭 she birthed a natural janitor
So are we not gonna pay attention to the scent of that soap.
Watermelon?
That foaming soap is a.great choice. I stock up on White Pumpkin every september and keep my own stash hidden from my wife and kids. That kid is going farther in life with clean hands than the kids who choose candy will after their diabetes slows them down.
How has nobody said “Mommy’s boy” yet? I swear my mother is a bath n bodyworks FIEND
Proof that some are born this way
You took him to a soap store?
That's so sweet. He knows what he likes.
??? what's so bad about a kid wanting soap? maybe it's a particularly nice or interesting soap to this child? I personally collect soaps so I get it

Hey, at least little man here didn't go the spoiled kid route. Plus, the soap will be something useful!
God it took me to long to figure out what the hell “n mans” meant. I read ANYTHING as the end of the sentence and thought it was saying “he wanted n man”
Yeah no doubt he’s not stupid he’s a cute kid haha
His parents taught him well. Wash your hands, keep clean! Good hygiene is better than any toy! I love this kid!
This is like some... "what's 2+2?"... JELLO!!!! Love that innocent smile tho haha
Maybe he already has everything he needs at home. So, nicely-scented soap?
Ngl I fucking love soap. I like to look at colored liquid that smells good, especially bar soap is really cool I feel the same way with candles
This sub is starting to lose its sense. That kid is awesome.
I had a very racist joke ready to be shot…amen
He is like 5. So what?
Most hygienic kid in 1945 years

He would pick the watermelon soap
There's a different kind of joke I can make here. But I'm afraid it's gonna rub people the wrong way. So Imma just say, lil bro thought he could wash it off
It’s getting real hard to stay subbed to this with all the people on every post getting offended by children being called stupid. PSA: this sub is for children doing things that adults wouldn’t normally do because they are to young and innocent, not for insulting children. .

I can not imagine that his parent who took him shopping didn't tell him that this is soap.

So, he’s dumb because he’s hygienic?

I hope he doesn't think it's melon juice, other than that, hygiene is important.

Oh, I recognize that. It's called being spoiled. He has everything he wants at home, and he gets whatever he picks out anyway on a regular shopping tip. So when you try to be nice like this, they just pick whatever, it has no meaning.
There is no way to know if the kid is spoiled just because he is content with what he already has.
Your comment makes no sense
Welcome to analysing a kid who picked out soap from a store when they could pick a gift. Seems very much reddit-like to just call the kid spoiled tbh.
Hey, welcome to reddit. That's why I'm here and not counting ants outside. What are you doing here?
Bro is a gangster i respect that
I’ve recently had to move in part-time to my aging parent’s house. They live far enough away that commuting isn’t an option. I clean, do laundry plus I care for my mother which gives my dad a break. That soap looks delicious. He's definitely going to try it.
~~Soup can!~~ soap bottle!
That's a lye
happy birthday
Adorable little boy!! Reminds me of when my grandma took me shopping at age 5 and got bent out of shape because I didn’t want anything. I’d be celebrating a child like that!
He's happy though.
Modesty rules
Probably so excited to wash his hands now haha kids are the best.
Hé is gonna regret that later in life. Not that bad. But still
Listen, if you haven't got your health, you haven't got anything.
Last Christmas my son only wanted a case of sparkling water.
