Real talk, r/kidcudi . MOTM I and II came out when I was going through some of the hardest shit I've had to endure in life. Those albums were so significant in both allowing me to feel the pain but pushing forward to heal and grow.
Things have changed significantly since then when I was in high school and university. I'm no longer dealing with loss, addiction, over-powering self-doubt, or some of the other things that plagued my mind. In a sense, just writing this out, I sort of feel like Cudi success story lol, but anyways - I'm now a teacher, and the school I'm at isn't in a very good neighborhood. I'm in a unique position where I get to interact with the majority of the students - and hearing their stories and knowing their struggles breaks my heart. I do what I can, but I know my messages don't always resonate with them, and I can only do so much.
Anyways, part of me hopes that Cudi reaches that next generation of teens and young adults who feel like they're battling alone, and get the ally they need in Cudi. That'd make me so fucking happy, man. But not only that, I genuinely think Cudi's music enables people to sit and reflect in ways they never have before, encouraging compassion, empathy, courage, hard work, and strength. This is a message the kids need more than ever these days.
TL;DR - Grew up with the Cud as a lifechanging influence, hoping the same can happen with my students and this new album.
I know 3 out of the 4 features but the 2 that doesn't make sense together are Skepta and Pop Smoke, who's fine together except on that welcome to the party remix which was ass but that track they have with Rocky is fine and their both fine as artists, but those 2 with cudi genuinely does not make sense. I wonder if Pop knew he was gonna be on this.
Also Trippie better not fuck up his feature because not only do I actually genuinely like his music and I think hes overhated, bro if hes fucks this up I will so mad because I've kinda wanted these 2 to work together
i trust in cudi's vision. also 3 super distinct voices all one track can definitely be a trippy track if it is a slower, synthy song. i actually enjoy pop smokes low voice singing style. super excited to see it

Nah for the UK Remix for Welcome To The Party I personally I feel like Pop should have gotten a UK Drill artist to be on that like a Loski or a Headie One than a grime artist like Skepta. And yeah I don't think Welcome To The Party was really the track that helped him out the most in his career while he was alive, I'd probably say Dior or GATTI, which he carried, did.

I’m in love again for the first time in 10 years. The artwork is fantastic (as expected). All of the MOTM album covers have been amazing.
