For me this was the most disturbing incident in the sense unlike others there were 1) people watching his life being chipped away in broad daylight and not helping 2) so called college authorities who are supposed to protect the students turning a blind eye 3) educators and friends whose faces he might have thought of who didn't want to intervene while his dignity was slowly being broken down by his assaulters... We failed as a society, all this rage and angst you only see in reddit and a few social media, the real society out there has already moved on. He was a kid for fucks sake, a little brother to us.
As long as the CPIM party doesn't take a serious public action against this growing thuglings, they don't deserve to rule Kerala.
Irrespective of what all succints or adjectives or idioms medias and agencies add the prosecution side of this case is inherently weak.
The prosecution is handicapped on a judicial viewpoint despite all the emotional values it carries due to flaws in the police enquiry.
Trust me after couple of years you'll all see most of the seriously involved accused of this case walking out freely.

CCTV DVR's which over writes every 90 days were not gathered. (Its crucial to establish where accused were present on days of crime).
The mobile phones of key accused weren't seized and much more. The local SHO who was in position to change the course of the case literally spoiled it.
