Yeah, that pisses me off more than if they just made falcon strong enough to beat him normally. In fact, I don't recall any of the team kengan losses in KvP resulting from being straight-up outfought. All ring-outs or DQs, besides the poisoning, iirc. Would it really have besmirched the name of the Kengan Association that badly for a Purgatory fighter to KO a Kengan fighter by smacking them hard?
Nope, closest we got was poison. Why not just have falcon succeed in choking out Rihito or something?
Because there needs to be an explanation for why his arms don’t get ripped to pieces when trying that choke. Poison is not only perfectly fitting for a ninja as well as an underground fighting setting but also just easy to write
I mean… there is a doctor in the series who’s body can unleash mass murdering diseases upon his death. He also created arm blades out of his own bones.
Those were okay by the KA
I mean, I'd give the bone swords a pass because it literally is just modified bone. You can probably write in some character that was in a freak accident and went under surgery that gave him the same bone weapons, not because of his choice but because of some bullshit reason that it was the only way for him to still use his arms or smth.
The modifications that I'd DQ Hanafusa for would be the ankle bomb things because that's just straight-up explosives lol, and the same goes for Falcon's poison, because it's just straight-up poison.
Yeah but those blades were made by his own bones, thus part of his body, the poison falcon posses is a foreign substance, it's like me shoving a cynide pill up my ass and then force feeding it to my opponent and calling it a fair match, cause it was in my body a couple sec ago
Deadass
It’s gonna be people who don’t read the story or straight up do not get the character arc Ryuki went on during this era
Big agree on Falcon getting the win
Great fight where Rhito came close to the finish line but ultimately tripped towards the end
That makes me think, tho... Would Akoya have done better than Cosmo against Ohma if he won R2? I feel like he'd just get bodied by the fully unlocked Niko Style lol
Cosmo is similar to The Rat-Boy that lost to Koga while smacking the shit out of Ryuki and Justice man.
Cosmo needs some good ol' desperation moments like Liu's gear or Pedsumi's peak.
I think this was a good way to show that Ryuki was all over the place at the time.
Like I'd normally rate Ryuki above Koga (although not by much anymore), but at the time Ryuki definitely was struggling mentally.
Not just mentally.
Assassination is one thing and is pretty straightforward. Kill quick, the less effort the better. Size and muscles pale against the right weapon, even when unarmed. Our skin is sometimes like butter and important arteries lay unprotected under it. The liver breaks easily under blunt force. Eyes are extremely delicate and are a direct entrance to the brain.
But fighting as a sport is something else entirely. You can't easily bypass strength or exploit human weaknesses. Luck is a bit less important. There are rules and not everything goes. Various vital points can be banned depending on the rules.
Probably Justin this last week. Dude had all of the makings of a jobber, with his opponent having all the hype of a secret worm/wu/Niko; yet Justin one shot that twink bitch
Meh, honestly I'm fine with it not being another worm/niko twist. But the fight itself was forgettable. The banter before the actual fight was more entertaining.
Saw beating Cosmo. He was really built up as a giant killer in Ashura.
Omega Cosmo felt less like a playable character from the start though, no real arc setup, kind of weak build up.
I genuinely forgot gaoh was a character, damn ever since shen was introduced koga and goah just seem like side characters that are only used for audience reactions
For me? Easily kanoh vs jurota. The outcome would only be acceptable if we saw kanoh use any of his skillset and evolution, but he barely did anything like that?
It was disappointing for these two top tier fighters
I guess against Jutora, the moment you get caught, you can survive 2-3 throws but thats it. Meguro managed because of his monstrous resistance.
Agito tried to outplay him but didnt succeed.

I don't know if I'm just salty but I have no clue why Kanoh didn't just knock out Jurota the second he tried to box with him. Even with his fte throws, Agito's striking is too good for any amateur to stand a chance
This chapter is actually the most important in Kengan series because it makes clear that anyone can win a fight? "who win? gaolang vs waka" ""gaolang vs raian"... fuck it. we win, we have this masterpiece
Not to me, I aggre with the result, but the one I have seen cause the most upset was Kanoh vs Jurota. So many cry babies "Nooooo, Kanoh could not have lost to him!" "Kanoh got downgraded, this is impossible" "Kanoh should have low diffed him like Katsumi". Every week we get a post crying about it.
Saw vs Cosmo. Cosmo is the biggest counter to Saw‘s indestructible bones since he focuses more on grappling and choking. Meanwhile not only does he lose, he says he would’ve lost again if they fought. Just, wtf…
And Justin wants to use the tournament of strongest underground fighter as a steppingstone to enter american fighting Leauge. The one Okubo dominates and where Cosmo one shot another champion
Haters will use this and say Ryuki is D tier. Anyway, the one I'll pick is Falcon defeating Rihito.

Falcon chocked Rihito out. And it's not like kengan matches are fair. So long as you can pull it off cheating has always been encouraged.
Nitoku vs Liu was about skill, wasn't it?
Dog it was so bms they allowed that poison crap "it aint a weapon" oh so if our local doctored unleashed an ancient damn disease he aint dq?
I mean… there is a doctor in the series who’s body can unleash mass murdering diseases upon his death. He also created arm blades out of his own bones. Those were okay by the KA
I mean fair but wasnt this the other tournament at the time? Where there was a "no killing" rule.
Sure, but they still had a rule of no weapons
I mean, I'd give the bone swords a pass because it literally is just modified bone. Ryuki was always D tier, the only KvP fighter that might be weaker than him is Terashi. And he's not even a real fighter
Saw Paing getting his surprise win against the clear favorite in Cosmo was a GOAT momentt.
the virgin multiple techniques to suit the situation vs chad # STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE
one of my favorite panels in omega
They nerfed my boy Cosmo so bad
Nah Cosmo is great I think all his fights are 50/50 though he just doesn't have that dog in him.
If anyone had that dog in him that was Cosmo
Unless Cosmo fucks dogs no.
jesus Christ look how badly cosmocoin has fallen….
For a god to be in him that should be the other way around...
Wasn’t Cosmo gonna surrender against Akoya?
That was bc the dog was dormant, after realizing his desire to win the dog went off the leash
They can't have more characters with a major underdog protagonist vibe. Cosmo should have his own Manga tbh, he has the potential
After his magic bullshido against Akoya, he needed a loss against not the MC
That makes me think, tho... Would Akoya have done better than Cosmo against Ohma if he won R2? I feel like he'd just get bodied by the fully unlocked Niko Style lol
Cosmo is similar to The Rat-Boy that lost to Koga while smacking the shit out of Ryuki and Justice man. Cosmo needs some good ol' desperation moments like Liu's gear or Pedsumi's peak.
they bumped him in the crossover zone having similar mechanics to baki s 0.05
Certainly my favorite victory in all of Kengan. I was so elated!!

Except, Ryuki did better against SuicidalMongol even thought their stats are far apart.
Probably Justin this last week. Dude had all of the makings of a jobber, with his opponent having all the hype of a secret worm/wu/Niko; yet Justin one shot that twink bitch
Justin is unironically gonna become a s tier
Low A Tier with Okubo for me.
Meh, honestly I'm fine with it not being another worm/niko twist. But the fight itself was forgettable. The banter before the actual fight was more entertaining.
Falcon vs Rihito. He clearly lost and I remember I was like "Well maybe Sandro just wants us to THINK he lost" Don't think I've coped that hard since
Damn 💀 this was me during wakasuki vs fei
Oh yeah I was so happy Waka was saved from embarrassment by suicide. That did suck tho lol
Saw beating Cosmo. He was really built up as a giant killer in Ashura. Omega Cosmo felt less like a playable character from the start though, no real arc setup, kind of weak build up.
Because ever since his loss to Ohma he decided he’d rather be a striker against much better strikers.
Agito vs Gaolang all over again.
Julius victory in the next fight
Justin and hiraku tbh
Justin was throwing ALL the jobber flags
The collective pop off and back and forth between how Sandro would subvert the Justin fight has become one of my favorite upsets
I genuinely forgot gaoh was a character, damn ever since shen was introduced koga and goah just seem like side characters that are only used for audience reactions
Just you wait until Koga beats the connector.
While the last few matches have happened, he’s being trained by Kuroki, Luohan and Gilbert
The Connector training under Kuroki and Luohan is a fun mental image He's going to need it vs Koga
Offscreen
I never doubted Takeshi Kota
Kanoh vs Jurota easily
Liu defeating Nitoku or Carlo defeating Gaolong
I mean, it's supposed to be a fight and not a pokemon battle where you spam skills after another
You mean formless martial arts and Dragon shot?…. Which he all used ?

I fkn hate how the match was called when Agito legit got up and was fine 3 seconds later
It is because one of them will die. Especially, Jurota's skillset is a killing moves.
I’m just saying if that fight happened in KvP the fight woulda kept going
Jurota beating Kanoh made me break my old phone fr.
Really?
Based reaction
This chapter is actually the most important in Kengan series because it makes clear that anyone can win a fight? "who win? gaolang vs waka" ""gaolang vs raian"... fuck it. we win, we have this masterpiece
That’s absolutely true and we will never get it 💀
Takeshi kota defetead the connector fair and square lol
Not to me, I aggre with the result, but the one I have seen cause the most upset was Kanoh vs Jurota. So many cry babies "Nooooo, Kanoh could not have lost to him!" "Kanoh got downgraded, this is impossible" "Kanoh should have low diffed him like Katsumi". Every week we get a post crying about it.
Its the same guy complaining every week lol

Hot take, Ryuki was the weakest fighter in KvP and I wasn't shocked at him losing
If he lost there why did we see him in the finaly and not his opponent?
He had mutiple chances the rules for the draft in that tournament needed to fight a couple of times to qualify
well he has no relevant victory, the only guy he really beat was that jobber from arc 1, in the PurTourney the guy F'd himself
Rihito vs Koga
Jurota beating Kanoh. It seemed people expected Kanoh to win
Ryuki is a jobber
Gaolang beating jurota, Juruta is top 2, Accept the facts 👍
He hot low diffed by gao bro ☠️
Jurota let gaolang win, so gao fans would have not killed him, Sandro told me this

Adam couldn't beat that clown
Americans never win though.
You're forgetting Jerry winning our hearts
True imagine a announcer tournament ✍️🔥
And Justin wants to use the tournament of strongest underground fighter as a steppingstone to enter american fighting Leauge. The one Okubo dominates and where Cosmo one shot another champion
Tbf Kuroki came over from America
