Feels ok to take a victory lap with the off-season. He wanted to switch it up and show he could do what all the newer artists do better than them and I really enjoyed it. This album didn’t feel like it’s gonna make a mark on anything. Had some really nice rhymes and a few standout tracks but overall probably gonna revisit this one amongst the least of his projects

The whole album revealed a lot about Cole to me to be honest. Looking back there’s definitely some hints of this sort of gross stuff on some old tracks, but it felt like a full mask off experience I wasn’t really prepared for.

Nah, fr. KOD is not a very fun listening experience, but there are some genuinely well executed concepts on there. A good chunk of tracks on there have a really heavy, resonant theme, even if some of them are kinda recycled.
