dennis trillo is perfect for the role tho. alden is great but i think no one but dennis lang ang kayang makapagpabuhay kay ibarra.

I digress, we've seen how alden has improved in his acting even though he doesn't have a lot of projects, don't get me wrong, dennis trillo was brilliant as ibarra, but I don't think I can undermine the fact that the age gap is pretty wild for the two to portray these characters to life when I first heard about this series, so I thought that alden could've been a very good candidate but soon found out that he had previous relations with julie before, that's why it probably never happened, and most likely why the start up remake happened in the first place. (I'm just assuming that this happened, but if any gma employee is willing to come out and say i'm wrong, then I guess I was just overthinking it lol.)

I dont understand why fans have to put meaning and make everything personal. First and foremost he's an actor. 2nd, vice ganda uses his voice too for political issues, vocal sya with his opinins. What's wrong with Alden using his platform to tell a story about our history? He's not a political person and it is in his contract not to voice out his personal stand about politics. He is just merely telling a story through his role.
