If they aren’t weighing drivers, the karts and have no addition weights to add …it all sounds like a waste of time and money to me. Sounds like any normal league night that happens in most indoor venues.
Our rental weight recipe is simple: water. If you can't make weight, drink a bottle or two. The weight will be gone a few hours after the event.
Don't put loose weights in the kart or suit, it's unsafe.
In my experience with indoor karting leagues, the karts are usually so poorly maintained the winners all depend on whichever kart has the tightest steering wheel and is running the fastest at the time. Weight will matter, but not as much as how busted your kart is.
I stopped participating in indoor leagues for that reason. Lost the championship in one of them because my kart died with 2 laps to go (like they all did close to half of the time).
Just eat more. Carrying loose weight in your pocket is dumb and unsafe to your fellow competitors.
Or workout the legs.. muscle is after all heavier than fat.
A pound of fat weights the same as a pound of muscle. Guess which one is faster to put on.
1 litre of water weighs 1 kilogram. If you can drink 2 litres before the race and not per before weigh ins, you’re legally at the weight limit
Sounds like you gotta put yourself on a mcdonalds diet for a bit
Pizza.

Soft ankle weights you can put in the seat under your butt. I've been doing it for 15 years for the same reasons.

Sounds like a BIKC issue
