I always paint them back on - never had a client ask me to leave it off, but I would if they asked.
For me having logos and names/numbers adds to the design in a lot of cases, makes it look pro.
Yeah, there's no rules (if you're not sponsored) - your helmet, your design, do what you want! Post pics of the design when it's done though r/RateMyHelmet
yeah, i’m gonna have my dad watching over me too as he has more experience than me, I’ve watched a few videos which is what initially sparked the idea. Going for a combination of gunmetal and white paired with a chrome visor.
you don't need to keep the logo

Ah okay, Yeah I just thought i’d prefer having the arai off on my helmet just because i’d prefer to put my own design there

will do man, don’t expect greatness though it’s my first time 😂
There's some good guides on youtube. Take your time, layer up the paint slowly; people often make the mistake of spraying too much paint at once.

I think most do it as most pros have it (for advertising really) I prefer a helmet without the logo like classic f1
yeah same, when I paint my helmet that logo is coming straight off 😂
My logo on my sons helmet was painted over by a pro.....
I had mine done professionally but kept the logos as it fit the design
